Hey again folks!

Took a few days off to collect ourselves, but here's a another little update.

  - Status Effects are now reliably removed upon death.

  - The Undergrowth Visual Effect has been reworked. It now follows Ulf around as he roams. The bug where it disappeared too early or stayed too long is also fixed.

  - Transmute duration is now faster when you have more queued up.

  - Added an on screen button to take you back to the title without using the keyboard.

Hey again!

I found another place where the game wasn't properly saving progress.

If you successfully cleared a level you had already cleared before and exited without buying anything or playing any other type of level the game would not trigger a save.

Before we created the toggle for endless mode there was no way of clearing a level after the first time, you would always play until you died. Hence we didn't handle this branch.

Sorry, fixed now!

Heya, menders and curers!

Another small update fixing problems you've reported.

  - Mouse Only: All primary spells can now be cast with only mouse.

  - Undergrowth can now be cast without a target close to the mouse.

  - Afraid of snakes: Ulf's description is updated to reflect his fear of snakes.

  - Chain Lightning is now affected by Eldirs Aura and Warcry.

  - Graphical fix: Fix bug where the grassy effect of undergrowth didn't appear when cast as the effect was fading out.

Hey healers!

Players found a bug where their skulls and leaf progress sometimes wouldn't be saved across reloads. I have found and fixed the bug.

If you played in The Grove, didn't get a new record and exited the game without buying anything in the tree or making any change to your warband or playing any non Grove level etc it wouldn't trigger a save.

Super sorry about this one!

It's one of those things that is literally caused by extra one character (a tab to be specific) and wasn't caught in testing since almost everything you do trigger a save.

• Fixes bug where a save wasn't properly triggered after playing The Grove and not getting a new record.

Hey again healers!

There has been some discussion around the game being a bit too grindy in places.

Especially the Skull economy has been talked about.

Let's see if we can remove some of the bumps.

- We have reduced the cost of a few mid to late game upgrades.

- Transmute. This patch introduces a new mechanic. After unlocked in the tree, Transmute, can be used to turn those lovely leaves you have on bank into scary skulls.

Let us know if you feel this has helped smoothen out the ride, or if we possibly took it too far.

Patch notes 1.0.2:

• Endless Mode Toggle
  Not everyone liked the change to replaying levels so I added a toggle to enable the classic Endless mode for previously cleared levels.

• Links and Warcry tooltips
  Added some missing stats here

It's been just over 24h since the game released, thank you everyone for playing!

We think the launch has gone pretty well!

Here are notes for the first patch, all stemming from feedback from you:

• Version 1.0.1A community member mentioned that the 0.4.x versioning scheme didn't look like the game was finished, so we bumped it to 1.0.1 :)

• Double Clicking to activate Swift Bloom felt bad to some people as they were already clicking a lot to activate Eir's Touch. We made two changes to make this feel better. Firstly: A hidden way of activating the previously double clicked spell is now on Middle Mouse. Secondly: The settings now has a toggle to disable double clicking.

• Swift Bloom will now interrupt any current cast properly.
  Another thing about Swift Bloom is that it used to be able to be cast and automatically interrupt any current cast, we somehow broke that between the demo build and the release build of the game. This is now fixed.

• Shielding now properly cancels any running cast. Shielding while casting a longer running spell would finish the cast immediately and then also applying shield. A bit overpowered. Now it properly cancels the current cast.

• Replaying finished levels now plays the same as the first time.
  When you were returning to a level you already had cleared you were playing an endless version of the level that grew stronger with each wave. This ended up confusing some players who felt that upgrading didn't make them stronger. Hopefully this is less convoluted.
  If you want a similar endless experience you can play in The Grove and compete on the leaderboards!

• Video settings.We now have Window, Fullscreen Window and Exclusive Full Screen modes available in the settings. There is also a toggle for VSync.
