The game is good and graphically this port is excellent. However this game has several controller issues which are totally unacceptable. I have tested the various issues with several different controllers and the issues remain. I have seen posts of others having some of the same issues.

-While using an Xinput controller holding both triggers at the same time will cancel out both trigger presses. Dinput controllers dont have this issue.

-Movement using left stick the character cant run in some diagonal directions. Only walk.

-Using legacy control scheme and strafing while aiming the aiming is inverted.

I found all these issues within one hour of playing the game. Was this game even playtested for PC?

This game is a horribly outdated piece of ♥♥♥♥, everything from controls, to actual gameplay. Don't buy this unless you're a 60-year-old who hasn't played a new game since the original Doom, I'm sure you'll be impressed by this in that case.

very hunter lots of bounty much jango and very fett

I didn't play the original on PS2, so I don't get the same sense of nostalgia other players might enjoy.

The gameplay has NOT aged well:

-Camera lock on is either so sticky you can't switch targets, or instead will not lock on to enemies five feet in front of jango and instead hyper focus on his mandalorian ass crack
- Checkpoints SUCK. 5 Respawns per LEVEL, which for some areas (particularly areas where you are spammed with turrets, snipers and rocket launchers) is just plain unfair. Restarting can mean you lose 30-40 minutes of progress (including all the bounties and secrets you found)
- Bounty targets look no different from other enemies, and you have to switch weapons to a scanner in order to detect them. These bounties are often clustered in with other enemies, and will run in front of your gunfire even when not selected, so you'll end up taking more targets dead than alive.
- There is no weapon wheel, so you have to repeatedly scroll through weapons to get to the ones you want. The Dark Forces remaster had this feature added. I understand this is a port, NOT a remaster, but this QOL improvement would have seriously helped
- You cannot zoom in with the sniper rifle, making it completely useless in most areas.
- Bugs that were reportedly present in the PS2 original are still present in this version
- The jetpack is ass. You can EITHER fly forwards OR upwards, but NOT BOTH at the same time. This makes some platforming elements unnecessarily difficult, and limits the applicability of the jetpack in combat
- There are no upgrades at all. Credits from bounties unlock...concept art. Oh goody.

Pick it up on sale maybe, but I wouldn't pay full price for this.

Good game, fun time.

Aged poorly despite being one of my favourite starwars game

- Lock-on is bad and get's stuck on walls
- not properly updated aka still hard to navigate
- collecting bounties is still awful
- keep being booted out of free aim

Absolute classic. Modern camera is godsent but stick with classic controls cause lock-on is messed up on modern controls.

Feels like a far easier game than the version I played on PS2 years ago but it's still fun enough
