📢 WHO'S READY TO TEST SOME HEART ELECTRIC?

We're almost ready to welcome y'all into Silicon Hope as our first public playtest kicks off.

We have added some meat to the bones of the Energy game mode and we're super excited to hear what you think!
To briefly mention some new stuff: there will now be Assignments to complete that will earn your team Energy, on top of being able to steal Energy from other team's bases. (see the video further down and you'll understand <3)

There will be 6 characters available for testing, with Crow and Prodigy joining the fray for the first time.
Some of our finest work if I do say so myself...

Loadout Customization is HERE, so you can finally build your perfect gun and perk combo for maximum shenanigans.
8 guns, 3 Hyper Weapons, 14 player perks and more gun mods than you can shake a stick at.

There's a lot more to cover in terms of changes since last playtest, so we'll have a dedicated Patch Notes post in January to really get into the nitty gritty.

📢 Playtest Dates and Times

Here's everything you need to know:

Saturday, January 18
Starting 18:00 CET / 09:00 PST (EU and NA timezones)
Servers will be up for 6 hours minimum, but will likely be extended if everything is going swimmingly ✨
Further communications will be posted in our Discord[discord.com] as the playtest is happening, so make sure you and your crew all join to not miss anything. ːsteammockingː

Want to make sure you get to playtest?

Well, the title says it all, doesn't it?
Just make sure that you've opted into playtests by clicking the buttom here on our Steam page, and everyone will get an invite when January 18th rolls around.

The more people we get to playtest, the more fun you will have in the queues and the more feedback we can get to improve the game faster. So recruit your friends and schedule in a Heart Electric Saturday Bonanza, and tell your streamer friends to check us out as well!

Seriously though. We have been waiting eagerly to have everything ready for this playtest, and we can't wait to see the biggest group of playtesters yet jump into the action.

Happy Halloween! October 2024 Development Update

Happy Halloween everyone!
Groove from the Community team here again.

October already over, huh? Wowza. Dev time flies when you're having fun.
We're so happy to see all of you Wishlisting, signing up for the playtest and even following us on Steam every day. We have barely started and you're already here supporting us.
A majestic, genuine thank you from all of us is in order.

So, what have we been up to?

Our first Character Spotlight video is out! Our fan favorite, Jazz is leading the charge. The rest of the cast will follow as we polish up everyone's visuals.

We hope you enjoy the first proper look at her abilities.
As always: We want to hear your feedback!

I, Groove, have also kicked off a Q&A series of sorts, "Talk Electric"!
I will be bringing our other devs into my little studio to talk freely about the game, any player-submitted questions, or anything that comes up naturally!

How's the game coming along?

The game is looking better and better every week, yeeeeaah buddy!
Here's just a little taste of the updated environments for the Moon area.
I'M TALKING BRAND NEW SPACE ROCKS!

We are currently implementing changes to the game mode based on last playtest, tweaking the Energy economy and adding new ways to gain (and steal) Energy.
New guns are in the works, you should be seeing those soon.

We still have new characters to reveal before the next playtest kicks off, by the way. I'm getting really excited for you all to see them.

We hear you - you're demanding more Heart Electric NOW, and we want to give it to you. We're just gonna add a little more stuff, make sure servers are able to handle everyone and then we can get the show on the road.
As we say in Sweden, "One who waits for something delicious can never wait too long". Or something like that.

Welcome to Heart Electric / Upcoming Playtest

Hello world! After a long time of hush-hushing and secret playtests, we can finally share Heart Electric with the world. You can join our {LENKE FJERNET}Discord to see how development is coming along and sign-up to our next playtest right here on Steam.

So what is Heart Electric all about, and why are we making it? The game takes the form of a 4-team elimination FPS where our Energy mechanic decides the winner. Set in 2068, Heart Electric immerses you in a world where sentient AI battle for freedom. You’ll be able to customize your own loadout of various weapons and perks, and pair those up with any of our synthetic heroes.

Our whole Modoyo team strongly believe that the new mechanics, emergent gameplay with creative tactics, and a strong emphasis on teamplay makes Heart Electric into something really cool and fresh for the genre.

We want to give a huge thank you to our amazing batch of playtesters who've helped steer us in the right direction so far. We have much more to experiment with and reiterate, and we’re excited to from now on bring many new playtesters into the fray of feedback. That means YOU!
