I was in the middle of a private game with bots and I got kicked outta nowhere, why's that? Is there a way to truly play singleplayer?

I got a system crash while playing the game, and given that I wasn't alone I naively wonder against my better judgement, if there is some in-game message in chat that indicates that I didn't just suddenly quit for no reason? makes me anxious, and the likely answer will keep me so......
