Today was a quick update while we're working on future changes in Ascend: Hand of Kul.

• Bug Fix: Creatures Banished leaderboard was labelled as “Souls Collected”
  
• Temporarily removed the Souls, Souls Spent, and XP leaderboards while we work on fixing calculation issues.

We've gone ahead and pushed a hotfix for patch #8 that was causing dungeon crashes and issues with the new pillars.

In order to make sure you have the latest Ascend update, please restart Steam.

Hello Caos, the time has come again for another update!

• HUGE Ascension Overhaul:
  
  • Players will no longer need to “legacy” items in order to save them! All items will be saved upon Ascension.
    
  • Legacy pillars now offer unique Legacy Rewards. Players can only choose one item per Ascension, so choose wisely!
    
  • Emblem reward messaging has been added to the Ascension process in order to better communicate what the player has unlocked.
• Legacy Pillars have been added to the end of every alignment dungeon.
  
• The 3 most expensive Souls Packs have had costs reduced by 20%.
  
• Brand new weekly challenges starting next week.
  
• Fixed issue with chests not always providing a loot option.
  
• Fixed issue where chests were not resetting properly.
  
• Fixed issue with the Ascension Leaderboard messaging always preferring Light Alignment stats.
  
• Players can now access the Endless Dungeon from the Main Menu!

We've been hard at work planning for future updates in the game! Here's what we've fixed and changed in today's patch:

• Forges added to the following levels:
  • Mount Crimhorn: Valley of the Pilgrims – Near the center area of the zone
    
  • Ruined Cliffs: Fortress Ur – Near the entrance
    
  • Ghostfang Wildlands: Wisp Grove – Near the entrance
    
  • Arkan Moors: Gor Loch – Near last village
    
  • Valley of the Dead: Temple Gates – Near the arch in middle of the zone
• Increased the amount of Souls players earn from controlled Dominion sites.
  • Local controlled sites now produce 100 souls per hour up from 10
    
  • Sites your player bosses control in other games now earn 10 per hour up from 5.
    
  • The max cap for souls earned increased from 5K to 100K
• Unique weapons (Gold) will now apply the appropriate data for player levels 1-19.
  
• Fixed player boss names not properly displaying.
  
• Players will now need to restart their game after changing their texture, shadow, and anti-alias quality settings.
  
• Launcher now available allowing new players to set their game resolution entering the game. Using this feature will also help those encountering a black screen during start-up in the event their default resolution is unsupported by their monitor.

We will be updating the game at 4pm PST today! We tweaked some gameplay aspects and also fixed some problems that were causing players to not be able to sign in.

• Combo multiplier increased by 25%
  
• Armor durability increased by 20%
  
• Trying to purchasing Souls with the Steam Overlay disabled will no longer crash the game. A new message will now prompt the player to turn the overlay back on.
  
• F’Taga’s health reduced by 30%
  
• Issue with duplicate player ID’s fixed
  
• Issue with French clients not properly recognizing Soul purchases fixed

You may need to close fully out of Ascend: Hand of Kul in order to see this update.

Hope you had a great weekend slaying your enemies!

Today, we'll be resetting the leaderboards in order to keep them fresh. We'll be doing this the first Monday of each month.

We will normally be doing server maintenance and patch updates every Tuesday at 3pm PST, however we will not be updating this Tuesday, June 3rd, as we focus on creating the next patch on June 10th.

We appreciate all your support as we work through the Beta and release this game! We're constantly tweaking and balancing the game to make it playable by all.

• Forge has been fixed and will now repair items 3600% faster both online and offline
  
• Fixed issue with Ascended champions not reporting the correct stats
  
• Fixed an issue with combo multiplier that was improperly calculating the amount of souls the player receives

• Players can now use the mouse to click “Continue” to dismiss the daily blessing UI
  
• Fixed UI collision issue that could potentially cause the player to sell the wrong item
  
• General networking tweaks to improve stability
