Official DEMO of Ground of Aces Out Now!

Today is a special day, we are excited to release the official demo based on our latest Alpha 5 build.

We reworked the aircraft models, we added new features to the building and resource management system, and we improved and polished many aspects of the general playing experience based on the feedback from the community. We also made the game more accessible to new players by improving tutorial features and adding more languages with the help of our amazing community translators.

For people who have played the previous alpha versions, here is an overview of the most significant changes. Play the demo and discover the new features and how they make your base building more efficient:

Improved aircraft models
New grid-based building system
Improved workbench management for more efficient resource production
Improved information bubble system (the speech bubbles over your NPCs and assets)
New animations for the NPCs
New background music
New highlighting system (i.e. for displaying the resources you need on your map)
Balancing and resources adjustments (for example, Tier 1 parking spots don’t need bricks any more)
Community Translations: This demo now has British English, German, French, Turkish, Simplified Chinese, Malay, Russian, Dutch and Swiss German localization thanks to the efforts of our community translators.
New tutorial texts and tooltip feature
Many more UI, UX, and other quality-of-life improvements
(The roof building still sucks, we promise we are working on it - sorry!)

Your base can’t get attacked yet in this version, but we are working on that for the next Alpha.

can you not save ?

why is there no save ? am i supposed to play 6 hours to check out a game or am i supposed to play it on 2x speed? i really like the game idea but i cant put 3 hours aside for testing . hope you know what i mean would really like try try but save is needed...

A comical waste of potential

as many people pointed out this game really missed its point: it should have been an airbase/airwing management based game with air strategies and pilots/plane management at its core. instead you're supposed to harvest food, chop down trees and build sawmills...like, how do you even greenlight such an idea? how do you think "yeah lets make a RAF Airbase building game and have players harvest berries and gather wood". it should have been a Bomber Crew centered around the base itself rather than the bomber:...

In this state it needs a save.

For it to be palatable to try to make a functioning base with ithe games 'idiosyncrasies' we need to be able to save scum. the plane pathing, the missions before an airstrip. the team doing anything but gathering food,,, The struggle aint worth it. I like base-building games. I like the need for a seed stock. Im good with the gathering supplies to be able to get the 'Juice'. make the 'squeeze' attainably fun. Map needs more clay and water deposits, and a warning if you are trying destroy 'em. Internal pri...
