New Languages are Available!

We have added new language options to Death of a Wish! The full game is now available in Spanish, Simplified Chinese, and Japanese.

To change the language, simply open the "Language" option in the main menu or pause menu.

We would like to extend our thanks to MarsHub, Kurono Studios, and Isabel Torres Venegas for their incredible work in translating the over 30,000 words of text in this game at an amazing quality. They did a fantastic job in capturing the dark atmosphere and dense emotions in each of their scripts.

Corruption question (spoilers)

I just got 100% corruption and unlocked transform. Do I really have to redo tracks for substantial corruption removal? I feel like there aren't enough encounters for me to reduce it naturally. I loved the first game and I was liking this one even more but my enthusiasm is almost completely gone if I really have to redo tracks like this. I enjoy the difficulty. I enjoy the stress of the corruption meter. But redoing tracks feels like the game is demanding near perfection until my corruption is low enough t...

Death of a Wish has been out for a year! We are extremely grateful to all those who purchased and played the game in the last year, and have stayed tuned in for subsequent updates. Thank you.

If you haven't yet picked up the game, you can purchase it at the Steam Spring Sale for a 30% discount!

Finally, new language patches will be released on March 13, 2025! We are extremely grateful for your patience as we get them together, but we're thrilled to bring the Paradiso games to a wider audience with new Japanese, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish options!

Flawless Achievement Questionnaire

I have a lot of different questions related to the "Flawless" achievement for the game. If you know an answer to any of them, let me know. 1. Does New Game + reapply Flawless? 1b. If true, does reaching 100% remove flawless? 2. Do Tech Mods invalidate Flawless? 2b. If false do certain Tech mods invalidate 3. Is there a minimum difficulty for Flawless? 4. Where to go for track 5?

I'm at track 5 where you lose access to the bonfires and have to go unlock them again. I've been running around the map for a few days and haven't been able to figure out where I'm supposed to go next, there's a couple dead ends where Christian says something like "I'll need to return here later" though. Could I get nudged in the right direction?...

Haunted Achievement?

I tried to kill everything in my first run, including the secrets bosses Chris and Dreamer, plus other bosses hidden around. Are there super-hidden bosses or some ones only in NG+?
