It's the 25th of January so it's my birthday and it's time for a sale!

This is going to be the first time Isle of Swaps is 20% off, making this a historical low. It's not gonna be 20% off for several months after this so pick it up if you've been waiting.

how much of a roguelike is this game?

Is there a main story with character development and a clear goal? Does losing a match make you lose your deck and cards accumulated and have to restart with a new deck?

Wish there were guides or videos

I like this game but I am utterly terrible at it. I wish there were guides or videos that could help me get better at the game.

In the demo, when you lose, you literally get robbed. Is it different in the full game?

I lost and they straight up yoinked a critter I was using, no swap or choice in what goes. I lost 2 more times and again they took critters I was actively using, weakening me for the rematch. Maybe I was just unlucky but it felt intentional. The AI literally cheat and break the premise of the game, at least in the demo. Why don't I get a free, mandatory critter from my opponent upon winning? Why don't the AI have to swap me for the cards? Feels bad man...

Is this a roguelike now, or will it still be a singleplayer card collecting game

I had the impression that the game would focus on building a permanent deck, while trading cards to "collect them all" so to speak. Has this been changed to a more roguelike structure? Thanks.
