Demo Feedback

Beat the demo loved it, but I do have some notes on it. First the good. 1: The dodge roll and parry is satisfying to use, and with the game giving you a free insta kill after parrying an enemy every now and again makes parries worthwhile but not spammable. It also incentives resource management to not horde that resource but using it wisely on enemies that have more HP or are more dangerous. 2: MOST of the gear is fun and unique, which is vital for a rougelike like this. Demo Feedback

The good: Cool artstyle, and solid foundation for the combat. Weapons feels good to use and telegraphs are extremely generous. The bad: Half the time I died, it happened because the camera was doing funny stuff like clipping into geometry zooming in and out or getting obscured by an enemey. Please allow keyboard rebinds, Space for defense feels really bad and awkward. I prefer Dark Souls keyboard controls, these felt like I was controlling a tank. This game has potential to be something special, here's some demo feedback

I would like to start by saying the game is very fun. It feels like Dead Cells mixed with the feel and atmosphere of Demon's Souls and Dark Souls 1. The PSX aesthetic gives me a little bit of Castlevania SoTN vibes too! First, some technical feedback. The game runs really well overall, 300+ FPS on my rig easily. However, on higher graphical settings, pushing FPS that high can cause my GPU to heat up more than it needs to playing on my 165hz monitor. A simple vsync or FPS cap feature would fix this. I've ...
