As it stands right now, this game's performance is still awful. I was otherwise having a lot of fun with this game, the world, characters and gameplay is all excellent. But multiple times at the exact same location my game freezes, my monitors turn black and receive no signal. I have checked my temps, my wattage, ran benchmarks for my CPU and GPU and in other games and have encountered no other issues. This is ridiculous.

It's such a shame cause beneath all the bugs, glitches and stuttering there's an amazing game with all the bells and whistles when it comes to the story, characters, atmosphere, soundtrack and gameplay.
Having only experienced the star wars universe through fallen order and now survivor, Cal's journey feels personal and epic, even without knowing the films.
The story is much darker and longer in runtime with abundance of side content to get lost into, combat is faster and smoother with 5 stances to choose from this time around keeping it fresh! (blaster/dual wield are my go to).
It's like the performance issues are the "dark side", Trust in the "Force" and it'll guide you through them!

I want to give Jedi Survivor a mixed review

The best part of the game is the excellent combat system. There are five different lightsaber stances and a lengthy tech tree that gives you a lot of abilities to play around with. There is a variety of different enemies and bosses you will face and you have to adapt to each one. I played on the 2nd highest difficulty and it is so fine tuned, I felt challenged and every victory or defeat felt like it was because of my decisions. The platforming in this game is also good, it's very fun to run and jump around the levels, and there are some challenging bonus areas which require precision movement. The action sequences felt very cinematic and intense, it feels like you are in a blockbuster movie.

The downsides of this game are the puzzles are not very challenging and most of them are optional, not as much effort was put into this part of the game. There is a lack of world variety, you spend most of your time on one planet. I also don't think the open world design of that planet is well made and this series plays better when the gameplay is more linear. Also my 2070 super graphics card tends to stutter in some areas of the open world. And the graphical glitches are quite noticeable, with some lightning and shadow issues, some pixelation here and there, and it just feels like the developers said the graphics look good enough 95% percent of the time lets just ship the product. I think the story overall is just ok, it's not going to blow you away, it's very generic. The characters are well designed though and the dialogue in the action sequences is always good.

Overall I enjoyed the game and I'm looking forward to the third iteration in the series :)
