Hello everyone! We just published a new patch that includes various fixes based on your feedback. This is a minor update that should fix things like unkillable bosses, bestiary improvements, and a bunch of small issues that you reported to us via Discord and emails.

Hello everyone! We are excited to present to you a new major update that includes not only fixes but also new content! Here's what awaits you:

• Bestiary! Now you can not only view the characteristics of creatures and runes but also learn about their origins and additional information. For each lore entry, we have added new trials that allow you to unlock them. We are still working on creature descriptions and will make them available in upcoming updates
  
• Curses! By completing special trials at different levels, you will have the ability to apply curses to yourself, which change the game rules in new playthroughs. These changes are aimed at experienced players, making your run more challenging and offering new rewards
  
• New achievements! Based on your feedback, we have added even more trials for which you will receive new runes, as before
  
• Added dungeons that contain trials to unlock new curses. You can find their entrances in the Wells located at the end of certain locations
  
• New runes have been added to the game, such as: Firesteel, Leech, Red Rose, Silver Mirror, and Bufo. We look forward to seeing the new combinations you can create with them
  
• New item - Trinity Stone, which allows you to purchase one of the three well-known runes
  
• Adjusted balance for damage, health, and useful items at each level. We are experimenting and refreshing the pace of your runs, hoping that you will enjoy these changes
  
• The overall run now consists of four chapters. This slightly increases the time for each run, giving you the opportunity to create even stronger rune builds and unlock their potential
  
• Improved AI for elite monsters and bosses. They will now have more interesting and powerful attacks Additionally, some bugs that you may have encountered in previous versions of the game have been fixed
  
• "All-inclusive"! Your brooms now have amulets and curses attached to them
  
• You can now refresh the assortment at the Waterman. Find what interests you, but will it be a free action considering his greed? - A rhetorical question
  
• Added Statue of Chornoboh. (The person who wrote the description for this update was afraid to activate it. Maybe you will be braver and give it a try?)
  
• Enhanced visual effects in various locations, including the abilities of the Viper broom
  
• You can now revive fallen companions with their souls. A very welcome exchange
  
• Changes also affected active runes. As a result, the Black Candle rune creates fiery sparks from defeated fire enemies, and the Phantom Heart rune has now become legendary. Let's welcome its upgrade!
  
• Improved interface scaling in the game, displaying inflicted damage and effects. Added new information: the ability to see fallen companions
  
• As usual, we have further optimized the game, fixed a number of rare and minor bugs that you have reported to us before

If you are the lucky owner of a Steam Deck, we have great news for you! We've just finished the verification process, which means all required fixes and adjustments made to the game to enhance the experience while playing it on a Steam Deck have been completed.

Hey everyone, we have a fresh and juicy update for you. New location and boss with an enemy, trading cards, saving the game, quality of life improvements, and rebalance. Let's dive into the details:

• Brand new location with new unique boss and creature...also there are tornadoes! Prepare your spells and don't forget about the safety belt, it's gonna be a wild trip!
  
• Trading Cards! Badges! Backgrounds! Emoticons! All this is now available via Steam, we've put lots of effort and love into them and hope you will enjoy collecting them all!
  
• You gave us feedback about saving progress, and we heard it. From now on you can exit the game and after, continue your run. Just be aware that after loading you will begin from the start of the Сhapter.
  
• Scaling UI options! If you would like to make an in-game UI smaller or bigger - this option is for you. It will be helpful both for someone who would like more space and for someone who plays the game on a smaller screen which makes text harder to read.
  
• We reforged the balance of the game, and now you will have many more lootable objects per Chapter, keep in mind that opening them all will require extra effort.
  
• As we are implementing new localizations we updated all the fonts of the game as well to support extra characters and symbols. They are now stronger, and faster they are better!
  
• We've read that some of you didn't quite like the basic parameters of Vitreous broom, so we refined them. Also, this broom has a reworked ultimate ability!
  
• You can now destroy acid bubbles of Bolotyanyk on the Swamp location, it's not like he will be happy about it though.
  
• Hola amigos! We now fully support Spanish localization. If we will gather enough requests for your preferred language we might add it next updates as well, so just make your localization branch on forums and see how many players are also awaiting it!
  
• Did you know that working without focus is not effective? Well, now that we know it, it's time to practice it properly - let's not work at all if we lose focus. We applied this philosophy to our game as well, and now you have the option to freeze the game when you switched the game window to something else.
  
• For those of you who like a clear view we added an option to hide damage numbers, so you can see more clearly how enemies receive spells in their demon faces.
  
• Healing totem gained more power, it will now give 5hp to your companions and 1hp directly to you.
  
• We tweaked the balance of a few spells like Bubbles and Ecballium. This rebalance reduces charges in one and increases damage speed for the other.

• Sometimes ability music didn't play properly after unpausing and reviewing, well now it's not the case anymore.
  
• We will find out who did that to you! Our in-game detective system can now track more precisely who or what did a fatal blow to a young witch and display it properly on post-death screen statistics. Now go and get your revenge on that exploding pumpkin!
  
• We had some issues in the previous version with attracting items with a Copper Pin rune that now are solved.

This week we will present a rather small update, as we are preparing a bigger one for the next week.

• New music on Deceptive Forest
  
• Altar with coins can now be activated with hits
  
• The Copper Pin rune now attracts only the required amount of apples for healing
  
• We are preparing game for full, 100% compatibility with Steam Deck, this and possibly the next update should fix remaining issues
  
• As we are preparing new localizations there were also a few tweaks in existing ones, including the default language that is now using your game client preferences
  
• The player will now be invincible for a short amount of time when taking damage or upon reviving
  
• Now when maximum health is capped after taking a Silver Comb cursed rune the health bar becomes inactive instead of disappearing, so when you get rid of cursed runes you get back all your locked hearts back

• Fixed a bug where there was an improper amulet and a spell in the bestiary that appeared to be locked
  
• Fixed stamina bar not showing up properly when you had stacked a lot of additional bars of it
  
• Fixed amount of charges of spells now updates properly when on the spell selection window
  
• Fixed a bug on Chapter 3 boss fight when defeating the boss

Hey everyone, we’re hoping you will get a great weekend, and add our little bit to make it even better here are some news on Bosorka!

While we appreciate you having a great time with the game, we got requests to add more things to the game and evolve it even further. So here we are presenting you what our future updates could look like, you can consider it as a roadmap for new free content we will be adding (keep in mind, things listed in here are not in order) :

Yes, we will add them as we go and you can expect much more new toys to play with. Runes require an elegant approach, as they can combine with the existing ones and things can get messy. We are not afraid when builds get really powerful, though would like to test if they will not ruin the experience in a bad way. The more runes we are having - the more tests are required (as things begin to multiply with each other), so if we will miss something - let us know and we will take a look what we could’ve missed.
Well, here’s that. We have an unusual idea about this mode, and it could be something really fresh and interesting, but first of all we need to try it out by ourselves. The game is built around playing with one character, so it will require some adjustments and testing. Most probably before launching it live, we will make a few closed beta tests, so make sure to signin on our Discord if you want to help us test things out (link is in the description of the Steam page).
There are a few really cool ideas how we could fullfill curiosity for those of you who like not only action, but also knowledge on what stands behind the curtains. You can expect more interactions with existing NPC’s, and also descriptions about how things are settled in Bosorka.
This is by far the most challengin thing to implement, it requires lots, even tons of effort. But we will do our best to research in this direction as we continue to expand the base game. As it also needs more resources, we will be more confident in realisation of this idea based on how the game performs in terms of sales. It is indeed a hard task, though we eager to try it at some point.
We would like to make Bosorka as comfortable as possible to variety of players all around the World, pretty soon we will annonce a new available language options. Also, if you would like to help us out to bring this game to your native language and have a solid knowledge of some specific language - reach us out over Discord and we can talk about possible collaboration.
We had a really warm feedback about the music in Bosorka so in upcoming updates there will be new fresh material of our composer LightReturn, it will help with diversity and will add a new layer of fresh emotions.
We are also eager to bring you more challenges and locations, alongside with additional activities. You can expect to see more things to do and more places to go, more details in upcoming developers notes.

• When picking up a phantom heart while being damaged it also adds as a bonus instead of applying to heal
  
• You can now pick up a phantom heart while holding a cursed rune “Ruby Ring” which limits the maximum health of the player

  Localization and UI improvements
  
• Runes and spell descriptions are not showing in its full length, and you no longer need to open the equipment window to read it through
  
• The new Patch Notes button on the main menu will keep you updated on what changed in the last version of the game
  
• All bosses now attack the closest target without choosing a player in a priority
  
• Changed behavior of bosses on Ghost broom ability. When activating this ability they will switch targets on your companions, or use AOE attacks in case you don’t have one
  
• Improvements in Chornobog AI. Now he will activate his dodge ability after his attacks
  
• Chornobog max health is now 2400
  
• Changed chests balance in Chapter 2 and Chapter 3
  
• Stamina depletion is improved when sprinting. Now stamina depletes based on the distance player traveled instead of the time the sprint button was pressed
  
• The cursed companion now heals himself by 2 points in exchange of the half heart of the player

• Fixed a bug of not being able to continue the game when the player had a “Kitty” rune and died at the same time as a boss
  
• Fixed a bug of not being able to pick up a book after Chornobog was defeated
  
• Fixed a bug where your companion could stuck in the well after moving to a new chapter
  
• Fixed a bug with a cursed companion, which could break the game on the final boss location when you won the fight with him

Hello everybody! We would like to thank each and every one of you for supporting us and giving valuable feedback! Meanwhile, we’ve made several improvements and fixed some bugs.

Improvements

• Added elite monsters on the first location, just so you could challenge yourself and gather that fancy blueprints of new spells
  
• Healing apples no longer pick up when you have maximum hearts already
  
• “Last breath dash” - you can perform one last dash even if you depleted your stamina too much and lack just a bit
  
• You can now bind additional buttons on your mouse to perform desired actions
  
• Amulets now have their own cooldowns and don't reset after changing to a new one
  
• Rune descriptions were not cropping correctly
  
• Disabled rudimental ability to change spells on the defeat screen

Bug fixes

• Fixed burning effect visuals, previously it was not visualizing properly
  
• Fixed gamepad support. Some players reported their system had difficulties recognizing their gamepad in the game. We’ve made a few changes that should cover this issue
  
• Fixed a rare crash that was experienced by a few players at the start of the game
  
• Fixed a few localization issues
  
• Fixed a rare bug with a Copper Pin rune
