Literally will not allow you to create a new account. I sat there in call with a friend for like 2 hours and neither of us could figure out how to create an account, at one point it said my real date of birth was "invalid". I am 20 years old.
I'd probably enjoy this game because i have a soft spot for early 2010's. But we couldn't even login as guests, genuinely ridiculous how this ♥♥♥♥ fly's in 2024. Why does the help section do bugger all?

this game is piss poorly done. when i was trying to get my name started and all that i had to create a fake email and fake date of birth in order to get into the game.....when i never played this game at all. it wouldnt let me use my main email, DOB, and my current username i use for here when playing with others....DDO, GET YOUR ♥♥♥♥ TOGETHER!! CREATING FAKE DOB's AND EMAILS IS NOT HOW YOU RUN A GAME NOR ITS LOGIN, NOR ITS SIGN UP PROCESS!!! GET IT TOGETHER!

Brilliant game , but one you have to think about the questing and shop can be confusing.

It takes some getting into it and really has that old school MMORPG vibe to it but in saying that, even with all the stereotypical MMO tropes, it does have that DnD feel and overall its not bad. Yes it does have some very outdated textures but it does add a slight charm to it, tho my first encounter with the seagull png was.... well... that could have done a bit better haha.
All up, this game has more heart then most games to date, maybe its not as good as things like Guild Wars 2 or Final Fantacy XIV but it has something and credit where credit it due, DnD online is a solid 7.5/10
