Is there any reason to buy the Definitive Edition over the GOTY release which is dirt cheap on key sites?

Just finished this game and realised that maybe the ending actually is a twist and that the real assassin of the family actually dissappeared sort of like osama bin laden after 9/11. Anyone else thinking of this?

i accidentally bought dishonored and not the definitive edition, can i purchase dishonored definitive while dishonored refund is pending.

While I love the games, the Chaos system makes zero sense, MOST of the City Watch, overseers, etc, know damn well Corvo didn't kill Empress Jasemine, even when given evidence to the contrary, also City watch members routinely abuse the citizenry. Its beyond f'd up that your punished for dealing with them forcefully, killing innocents or Watch members you actually hear that are truly in the dark ok, but many know this to not be the case and actively CONTINUE to conspire with these POS's even AFTER learning ...
