Players who already own the 2009 version of Red Faction: Guerrilla on Steam will automatically receive the Re-Mars-tered edition for free in their accounts. From now on, these players can simply download Red Faction Guerrilla Re-Mars-tered from their Steam library and start swinging their sledgehammers.

One more random fun fact about Mars (in real-life): If you weighed 200 lbs on Earth, your Mars-weight would only be 76 lbs. But don't try the "Mars-Diet" at home – we recommend neither eating only Mars bars, nor trying to lower the gravity in your neighbourhood.

End damage increased to 32 (from 29)
Minimum threshold increased to 30 (from 0)
Increased number of shots to go to maximum spread to 5 (from 4)
Fine aim minimum spread reduced to 0.67 (from 0.7)
Recoil kick reduced to 0.9 (from 1.1)
Maximum ammo capacity increased to 160 (from 120)

Steam Edition Update #6 21:9 resolution support, wallshot fix, FOV option for multiplayer and some balancing updates

Changelog

31st October 2016
- Support for 21:9 resolutions
- Fixed bug, where player could shot through a wall while standing behind it.
- Added possibility to adjust FOV in multiplayer. Maximum multiplayer FOV value is 60.
- Reduced heal backpack "health regen per second" to 250 from 600
- Reduced firepower (commando) direct and area damage dealth factor to 1.2 from 1.5
- Removed Arc welder darkness effect which makes it extremely hard to hit someone using it on you in combat
- Increased rail driver default refire delay to 1200 and MP override reload delay to 900.
This ends up matching perfectly so it's ready to fire when the beam vanishes. Making it easier to dodge and increases skill to use

Steam Edition Update #4 - FOV option added & Many Fixes

Hello,

After extensive testing also thanks to our amazing community we are done with the next big update which features finally a field of view option for the single player mode among other fixes.

Changelog

9th March 2015
- Added option to change FOV for the single player game.
- Added console commands to show/hide HUD (hud_on/hud_off)
- Added support for QWERTZ keyboard layout
- Added player invulnerability when in joining in progress.
- Improved overall game stability
- Tweaked text chat color
- Fixed possible crash when leaving a Wrecking Crew game
- Fixed bug where text chat windows was not disappearing when leaving LAN game.
- Fixed Demolition mode/team chat 'y' key map conflict.
- Fixed bugs in Wrecking Crew - Free play mode.
- Fixed crash when the Reconstructor mod was previously installed
- Fixed bug where the Reconstructor unlock was always shown after finishing mission.

Steam Edition Update #3 - Text Chat, Reconstructor in Single Player Mode and many fixes added

Hello,

After extensive testing also thanks to our amazing community (http://steamproxy.com/app/20500/discussions/0/619573787641750486/) we are done with the next big update which features text chat and reconstructor in single player mode as highlights among other fixes.

Changelog

20th January 2015
- Added text chat feature for multiplayer. Use "t" key for the regular chat and "y" for the team chat.
- Added the Reconstructor weapon for single player (main and bonus missions). It will be unlocked after finishing the game and then you can get it at the upgrade table.
- Fixed functionality of locking bagpacks and weapons in custom matches (it never worked on pc version before)
- Re-initiating matchmaking disabled when there is more than one player in the lobby.
- Improved overall game stability (thanks for dump files).
