Start is fairly fun and promising, but as game progress game steadily goes into pure grind and waiting.

Pros:
- No performance problems
- Relatively bug free (ex: list doesn't scroll in one case)
- Fun start and fairly interesting mechanics

Cons:
- Waiting. Example: Your cargo is 2T over limit, you start smelting your 3T of carbon into graphene, it takes a lot of time, and you can't sleep to speed up time, you can sleep only at stations and only once. So you either go do something else while game is in the background or jestinon that carbon. Feels like that needs fixing (ex: either permit sleeping or make work only during jumps and sleep).
- Needs a lot of polish. Examples: repairs and refuel could have had an 'auto' checkbox per station. If player tries to enter shuttle before transition ends, game bonces player into dialog, feels troublesome, and forces player to time that button press, just let player wait in the shuttle. There is an emergency return, but no 'collect turrets' order. Production UI is very inconvinient and micromanagy.
- Pacing of progression. Early progression is fine, you unlock something almost every jump/refuel and that something is usually fun to play with. But later you just get progressively more expensive blueprints/devices that do not feel like they change much despite needing multiple jumps/refuels each to unlock.
- Linear Progression. Doesn't look like there is much divercity in how you do things or progress, no tradeoffs. In this aspect even Survivng Mars did it's 'beneath and beyond' better. At least there you can choose if you want to go long but steady, fast and expensive or strip only surface deposits then go for the next rock.

Other:
- Little depth at the moment. It's feels overcasualised in some aspects, just right in others. Ex: Sans needing to do couple jumps fuel doesn't affect distance, mass doesn's affect fuel use. Coupled with no need to prepare for a mining missions (just jump to it, avoid some rocks, then land) whole 'map' thing feels boring and superflous. Distance becomes just a number that you never look at.

Can't recomend in current state, but I will be keeping an eye on it.

I'm hoping that the devs make a few changes regarding progression, refining speeds, and add things more interesting to the core gameplay loop before I pick this back up again.

I have played 22 hours, and still have not unlocked all of the tier one upgrades. This is not due to skill issue, nor is it due to anything I as a player can do. It's artificial inflation of gameplay time, where to get one upgrade costs 40k materials to be refined for 10+ hours just to get the base materials to start thinking about getting an upgrade. I have also played a good number of hours of this game at 16x speed because the refining speeds are so painfully, unnecessarily slow. Mind, the upgrade I'm looking at is a minor increase in stats, not something major. Also, these materials you need are limited in how many you can store on your ship at any time, and with mass limitations before you can jump away from an asteroid if you run out of time there you have to dump the vast majority of anything you've mined before you are forced to jump away. It's massively frustrating. Asking this much time investment for so little return is not only baffling, it's insulting.

This game is an idle game in disguise at the moment, lacking only microtransactions. The core gameplay loop isn't interesting enough to make up for the massive demand of time put on the player - it does not respect the player's time.
If you want a fun or chill game, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. You'll have more fun, you'll do more, and you'll get more gratification than this grindfest. Respect your own time, give this one a miss.

For now I would not recommend. The game has potential but it is incomplete. It is worse than any demo. For now stay away.
