It is finally here - the Manufacturing Bay refactor many of you had been asking for. The machines will now save what they're doing when you take a nap. During your nap 60 minutes of manufacturing will take place and when you wake up they will load and resume what they were doing! Also some other fixes bundled into this one!

• Taking a nap now runs the manufacturing machines for 60 minutes.
  
• Manufacturing machines now save / load the recipes they were working on and resume manufacturing on load.
  
• Fixed game freeze that could occur when using the build menu shortcut.
  
• Fixed bug that could occur when repositioning a crane’s Transfer Points.
  
• Fixed scenario where shuttle could get stuck at perimeter of traversable space.
  
• Fixed issue where Workerbots would try to drive back to an absent shuttle.
  
• Improved the shuttle’s Command Bot recovery logic

The correction to Gem Deposits is now followed up with some balancing to Uncracked Gem values as the fix did cause some economic disruption. Resin also has been rebalanced as the change to Undesirable valuation had disrupted it.

• Resin recipe revised output more resin to reflect increase biomass value from 50 → 5 to 50 → 15.
  
• Upgrades requiring Resin have had their requirements increased. Fuel upgrade from 100 → 300 and Forge Level 2 from 300 → 500 (which lowers the resin cost on Forge).
  
• All cracked gems have had their Earth Dollar value increased to be 1/20th of the Flawless Gem Value and have been made Uncommon increasing the earned from them Cube Credits.
  
• Gem Dust value has been increased to match from $600 to $1350 and also set to be Uncommon.
  
• Fiber Optic Strands increased to $2500/kg and classified as Rare.
  
• Improved unloading distance on shuttle equipment door to help with turret pickup during delivery orders.

Some more fixes - specifically around the collection of gems and their manufacturing. The underground resource deposits were never meant to pull up flawless gems. I hope you enjoyed the profits while they lasted as this has now been corrected. Apologies to anyone who had already planned an early retirement on Earth because of this!

• Corrected video for Carbonator in Shopping Terminal
  
• Manufacturing Crusher now shows Gem Dust even when no gems in storage
  
• Cracked Gem contracts now state that they accept Cracked or Flawless Gem
  
• Fixed issue with Handheld Resource Scanner not playing nicely with Info Overlay view
  
• Handheld Resource Scanner stops picking up already discovered resources
  
• Underground Gems come up as cracked not flawless - Flawless variants only on the surface
  
• Lowered requirements on some of the flawless Gem Contracts to compensate
  
• Fixed Turrets failing to target certain plants

Manufacturing improvements are still underway. We also see all the calls for Cloud Storage. Hoping to get that in soon too. Things are starting to calm down a bit on the bug report front. Thanks for your patience!

We know everyone is waiting on manufacturing fixes and they are underway, but yesterday's Crane pathfinding fixes also introduces some heavy calculations that were slowing down the game when 6+ cranes were placed on an asteroid and the transit possibility space became complicated to calculate. Happy to report that we've been able to solve this problem!

• Fix Mining Laser Level 2 not showing Icon in bottom right corner when selected
  
• Info Overlay displays underground deposits
  
• Info Overlay displays additional button mapping
  
• Performance improvement to the crane pathfinding calculation
  
• Repeat fix to the resolution resetting on load problem - resolution should now remain after being set!

Still working on improvements to manufacturing but in the meantime here are some more fixes today

• Fix to Surface Crusher - when set to accept Flawless Gems it would start to also pull in Storage Crates
  
• Fix to Workerbot Crane selection so that multi-crane networks do not leave some cranes completely un used and distribute traffic through all connections on the transit network.
  
• Fixed a null ref issue that occurred on dead Command Bot

Discovered an issue with the Disable Pirates checkbox - that is now corrected

• Checkbox to disable pirates now working correctly
  
• Disabled pirates show correctly on the map under "pirate activity" when scanning asteroids

Hello! We have heard the response from the forums and discord and have implemented some new Gameplay Settings to let you enjoy Astronomics at your own pace!

• Added “Asteroid Time” multiplier to Gameplay Setting - you can now slow down asteroids up to 10x
  
• Added toggle to “Disable Pirates” in Gameplay Settings
  
• Shortened hyperjumps back to station down to 5 seconds to respect player’s time. (Jumps to asteroid remain 30 seconds as they are a loading screen for the asteroid generator. Remember that you are free to exit the map view and walk about the cabin during transit. Go set Manufacturing, talk to CUBO, look at Contracts, examine your Knowledge Base or grab a Coffee)
  
• Small fix to Workerbot pathing that will help with Crane choice distribution - still working on this but already improved
  
• Further fix to Video Codecs - videos now play on Steam Deck and no users should require to use the _novideo branch
  
• Resolution once set should no longer re-vert on reload / nap
