It's been a long journey, but we're greatly pleased to announce that you can play The Fear Business now!

In the past, you tricked the scissors killer on The Night of the Scissors, you managed to escape from the Tucker farm on Cannibal Abduction. Now it's time to dust off your camcorder and meet our deadliest killer to the date, Goat Face awaits on this thrilling survival horror story inspired by iconic found footage movies.

Game features

Experience the fear of being locked with the deadly Goat Face.
Find places to hide... Or fight back, if you dare.
Interview Black Hill's locals and record as much footage as you can in the free view first person mode.
A huge victorian manor to explore, every room is full of interactions, items to collect, things to record, secrets and puzzles.
Blow the candles that light the devil shrines for saving your progress, but there's a catch... The manor will become darker every time you do it!
Cinematic camera angles and authentic VHS glitches.
Learn about the Architect's secrets and discover an incredible plot twist!
Contemplate the most horrific creations in an ingame gallery art. Every piece you see was painted by real horror artists!
The game is available for Windows, MacOS and SteamOS/Linux.

What's coming next?

First, we're going to patch bugs and add/improve translations. We might roll a content patch in the future.

are the following games by the same dev better?

As much as I usually enjoy this style of games, The Night of the Scissors wasn't good in my opinion. The killer's spawns seemed unfair and too much like trial and error at times and the visual effects made my head hurt in this one with no option to turn them off. Are Cannibal Abduction and The Fear Business any better than this/still worth trying if I didn't enjoy Scissors?...

The Special Halloween event begins!

Login to The Night of the Scissors during the Halloween week (Oct 25-Oct 31) for playing the special Halloween event.

Pumpkin carved, killer is dressed up, hunt for the three hidden candies across the post office and receive the "Trick or Threat" achievement.

Can you get the halloween achievement?

I missed the update. Can you still get the achievement by playing now or example, by changing the clock in the computer as it works in some other games ?

And I just saw your release date - absolutely perfect. =D Was wondering - will this be the same game that's available on Itch.io or are there any changes?
