My problem with New Game+ (Please fix this)

My cat Wisp married Jag, then had kittens blah blah blah and then I saved the Wildwood champion. Then I did a New Game+ with my kitten Secret since I had all the characters unlocked and I knew that the characters would carry to the New Game+. But to my surprise when I entered the temple the Wildwood champion was not there. I didn't want to beat him AGAIN and do all the puzzles AGAIN. So I just married Umbra and pretended he didn't exist. But I really wanted to marry the Wildwood champion, thus why I did Ne...

I played the original game, back when I downloaded it sketchily off a random website I found and didn't know what a .zip file was, and then when I found out a version made its way to the steam store I was so excited and I've played that too. Now this, this game, the sequel.... sheesh. Is it hot in here or is it just me? I love this game, I have always loved the iterations of this game, and the devs never fail to deliver. I live my warrior cat fantasies this way. Just catching prey and dating cats, as all things should be. I can't wait to put way too many hours into this.

Ruins order?

Currently speed running getting all achievements, rival marriages, leveling up everyone, seeing how fast I can completely max out the game. I decided to focus on getting all cats first, so I was recruiting cats without doing the ruins. I ended up recruiting all cats that aren't season dependent by Spring 5. All ruins (except southern) are open, and all I'm aware of is that the eastern ruins is the first. Do the southern or western come next? Even if it doesn't matter, I still want to do it in chronological...
