Tournament mode
- This allows players to create a tournament room where the host is a spectator (perfect for our streamers).
- Players can select the teams that they want to be on.
- For the host spectator, we allow a free camera using WASD movement and POV swapping using your shoot button to swap between players' POVs.

- Changed how the weapon wheel works on controller. Right stick is now used to determine which weapon to select

Bug fixes
- Fixed ping only showing for host
- Fixed an issue where grenade launcher shots would explode on invisible walls
- Fixed an issue in Seal the Deal where the Madness seal wasn't properly randomizing weapon and ammo pickups
- Fixed several issues related to inputs being able to be received while the weapon wheel was open
- Fixed an issue in Seal the Deal where the Eternal seal wouldn't allow players to swap to guns that were previously out of ammo
- Fixed an issue in Seal the Deal where the Eternal seal wouldn't allow low ammo weapons to load the full magazine size
- Fixed an issue with unlocking one of the hidden skins where only one person would receive the skin instead of the entire lobby
- Slightly tweaked end of match music to end right as the match ends. Previously there was a few seconds of silence before the match actually ended
- Throwing axe should now have a different sound when hitting a player
- Fixed an issue in the lobby where changing a map, gamemode, or the lobby privacy settings would move your selected button down to start game when using a controller
- Fixed an issue where ammo pickups could be picked up when you had full ammo already
- Fixed an issue where rebinding on controllers would rebind the control, but also keep the original binding so both buttons performed the action
- Fixed an issue with rebinding where several controller controls were marked as keyboard controls, which led to players not being able to rebind those controls on controllers

UI updates
- Added a message that pops up when a gun is out of ammo
- Added gun empty sound to the weapons
- Improved death cam for player ragdolls. The player will now follow the ragdoll instead of staring at the ground.
- Fixed an issue where weapon and ammo pickups wouldn't display the exact amount of ammo you received
- Weapons can now be selected on the weapon wheel using left click/A
- Changed how infinite ammo is displayed to only replace the weapons reserves with the infinity symbol
- Weapon wheel now displays infinite ammo properly

Beneath the castle grounds lies the rest of the castle. Buried by a previous disaster, the area has been swallowed by the ground and fallen into ruin. It appears to have been occupied at some point, but whoever lived here left some time ago…
Community skin now available for use

• Unlockable skins are now unlockable 😉
  Pay special attention when you’re exploring maps, you’ll never know what you might find!
  Room hosts now have the ability to kick players from the room
  
• BIG graphics update
  This means improvements to lighting, updates to props and visuals, and additional paintings have been included, which may include some familiar faces! Additionally the Dash visual effect and cranked countdown timer have been updated for clarity, weapon wheel colors have been adjusted, a FPS Counter has been added, and many more small changes you’ll notice throughout the game.

As always, we really appreciate all of the feedback we have gotten over the past month and a half since multiplayer’s release. We’ve made a ton of improvements based on your feedback specifically, and we can’t wait for you to see the new and improved experience.

What can you look forward to beyond this content injection? We’re hard at work on finishing up the co-op campaign for DreadMoon, so stay tuned for more updates. Additionally, we’ll be hosting a tournament with YouTuber and Streamer ZlimBratSki in late February where teams will compete against each other to be the final teams in the bracket. Hey everyone! Happy DreadMoon release day!

It’s been a great first day and we appreciate everyone who has taken some time today to play the game! We are aware of the performance issues some of you have experienced today, and we’re working towards fixes. Thank you all for being patient with us as we address them, and if you come across any additional bugs you would like to make us aware of, please send them in the “report a problem” channel on our Discord server.

The following fixes have been made today and we’ll continue addressing stability issues this week.

Day 1 patch notes:
Occlusion culling added for each multiplayer map. This will help with performance while we work on other optimization fixes.

Armor bar properly updates after dying and respawning

[Denver, December 8, 2023] — Hey everybody! We are thrilled to announce that DreadMoon is coming next week, December 12! Multiplayer gameplay of DreadMoon will be available Early Access on Steam for free, and we’re excited to bring everyone into the DreadMoon universe.

Drawing inspiration from favorites like Halo and Doom, DreadMoon is a retro-inspired first-person shooter game where you play as Ulric, a powerful werewolf and right the wrongs your people made to free the land from the vampire lord Balthazar’s deadly clutches. While only multiplayer game play will be available at this time, you can look forward to a full co-op campaign mode coming in early 2024.

DreadMoon introduces a diverse range of game modes and maps, providing you with a dynamic and engaging environment. The Early Access release will feature seven thrilling game modes, including classic favorites and unique offerings exclusive to DreadMoon, including:

Free-for-all
Team Deathmatch
Capture the Flag
King of the Hill
Cranked
Sticks and Stones
Alpha

The game also boasts an impressive arsenal of weapons, ensuring you have the tools needed to dominate the arena. Some of the weapons available in the game include the fully automatic crossbow, grenade launcher, harpoon launcher, minigun, pistol, shotgun/blunderbuss, and the iconic Winchester.

You can create customizable lobbies or join already existing ones that can accommodate up to 8 people to join in the fun. Lobbies can be set as private for exclusive matches amongst friends or public for those seeking a challenge against opponents from around the world.

In addition to the diverse gameplay and weaponry, you can choose from five basic skin colors to customize your character. However, we have an exciting competition on the horizon. Players will have the opportunity to design their own skins, with the chance to see their creation become a permanent part of the game.
