Howdy Raiders -- we've got some major news to share!!

First up, our next event, Drosera Dusk, is here! Taking the helm of this event is NIMUE, the latest Raider to join Watto’s roster!

Hailing from a striking planet illuminated by polar night and gifted the genes of an alien race with slow aging, this is one Raider who’s had decades to sharpen her fighting skills. While charming people may not be her strongest skillset, a fondness for tiny alien creatures (particularly of the poison variety,) has resulted in many pets waiting for her back home.

This event, inspired by NIMUE's dark and moody spirit, includes over 20+ new items;
• New Raider, NIMUE!
• 7x New Melee Weapons
• 7x New Ranged Weapons
• 7x New Character Skins
• 2x New Emotes
• 3x New Vehicles
• 1x New Backpack

Next up...NO LOVE LOST NOW HAS A CO-OP MODE!!

Take on the Nectar Raiding trade with friends using good 'ol teamwork in our new Co-Op mode. The dangers of Drosera still creep in the shadows and stand between you and quests but this time, victory is within your grasp and your grasp alone! Challenge your crew to break a Nectar harvesting record before time runs out, see who can collect the most or aim to finish a certain number of quests before Extraction – the possibilities are endless!

We’re excited to add new ways to play in NO LOVE LOST and hope you have a blast exploring Drosera with your friends!

Exciting pre-release news!! We now have the ability to let you set up dedicated servers for your NO LOVE LOST sessions. Here's a quick guide on how to do so...

1. Install "No Love Lost Dedicated Server" from the Steam library tools
You need to add the "Tools" category to the library filter dropdown to be able to see it, by default Steam only shows the “Games” category.

From SteamCMD:
If it does not show you can install the server directly using SteamCMD. Please refer to Valve’s documentation to install it, here: https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/SteamCMD

Then run steamcmd and from there enter the following commands:

force_install_dir <folder> - specify the folder you want the server to be installed at, e.g. C:\NLLServer>

login anonymous

app_update 2833050 - this will actually install the app.

When an update is available, to make sure the server is up to date with clients, you can use steamcmd and app_update 2833050


2. Edit the launch options
The server needs to know which ports to use so that it is accessible, and which name should be shown when searching for sessions. Right click on “No Love Lost Dedicated Server” in the library then go to properties, and edit the launch options. E.g.: -port=7777 -queryport=27015 -servername="My Server Name"

If you’ve installed it from SteamCMD, create a .bat file containing something like this: start <your install folder>\NoLoveLostServer.exe -port=7777 -queryport=27015 -servername="My Server Name" - and adjust the command with the correct options.

-port=xxx / -queryport=xxx : these options are mandatory, the two ports specified need to be different and must be opened on the router (cf. next section).

-servername=”xxx” : mandatory, the server name as it will appear in the session list.

-serverpassword=”xxx” : optional, this will make the server private, only accessible to players who know the password.

-log : optional, by default the server will run silently in the background, you can add the option “-log” to open the server in a command prompt window. Note that closing this window will shut the server down.


3. Make the server available to the internet

In order to allow other players to connect to your server, you will need to make sure your router is configured correctly to allow traffic to both ports. You need to set up port forwarding on the router or hosting service, and may have to adjust the firewall settings of the router or the OS.

Required ports:

game port (TCP/UDP) : 7777
query port (UDP): 27015

These are the default values, you can change them using the -port and -queryport options.


4. Start the server

Simply start and stop it from the Steam library. As the server is in “anonymous mode” you can play the game from the same steam account and connect to your own server.
