Hi earthlings,

As the year wraps up, it’s the perfect time to celebrate how much the game has grown and touch on a few key highlights. This year saw an incredible influx of new players, and the growth has been beyond anything I could’ve imagined!

SALES

This year, a whopping 2,838 new players joined our community, and the game raked in an incredible $30,174 in gross sales! Honestly, this completely blows my mind, I never imagined we’d achieve anything close to this!

REVIEWS
I’ve received some negative reviews on the Steam store during the Winter Sale. First, I want to apologize to anyone who felt the game didn’t meet their expectations, that feedback is completely fair. I take every review to heart and always strive to improve the game.

That said, I’m just one solo developer juggling a full-time job, family life, and this passion project. I don’t have a dedicated test team. You, the players, are my amazing bug-hunters! Yes, there are bugs, some nasty ones, but with your bug reports, I’m squashing them as quickly as I can.

To make up for the rough edges, I’ve decided to reduce the game’s price by 20% after the winter sale. I think it’s only fair, and I deeply appreciate your support as I continue to make the game better for everyone.

And to everyone who left a positive review, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Your support and kind words mean the world to me and are what keep me going!

Let’s end on a high note! Thanks to the game’s success, I’m taking a big step forward, I’m setting up my own business! On January 8th, I’ll officially register Case Yellow Labs at the chamber of commerce. This will be my own indie game studio! This company will be my platform for developing and publishing games, and it’s the first step toward my dream of making game development my full-time career.

Major issue

Every once in a while, my items that I have stored in crates/large crates, just disappear. Most often after I die. It really stops my progression as everything in them are gone... Anyone else experiencing this?

This game has good potential, even though its still in it's early development, I'd still recommend this game to who ever played Astroneer.

List of bugs and fixes worth adding.

- Radoff doesn't work, so the only way is to kill yourself and respawn when it's at max. unless there is some other way that I haven't discovered. It would be nice if the radiation slowly decreased when we are on our own ship. (Maybe some additional machine for that) - In this "tutorial" when we start on a planet and have a quest to build the first three machines in our still-crashed ship. When we accidentally click twice and build two of the same machines, we won't have enough parts for all of them to ...

I've just purchased the game. - Right after proceeding through character creation screen I got achievement for killing all crew aboard the ship, yet I didn't even really start the game - I kinda got into the "helping myself feel better" objective and used the bandages and water I looted, then I noticed the game actually substracted points toward the objectives and I was kinda stuck - So I tried to Alt + F4 and reload not to save in this state which after loading the game got me onto the ship with the previ...

A couple Bugs

First in the tutorial, if you go to the robotek base and claim it, it respawns with bots. My pod was trapped in a wall but it also sets this as your home base rather than the ship. also, one of the crates there doesnt wipe its inventory when you pull items so you can extract inifinite. next when lasering water makers on destroyed m38 stations, and when you make them and do the same to move them. they break, as expected but turn into oxy makers. i have like 8 now to test it. ill let you know if i find more,...
