Can't see myself on the map or time

I have the GPS, compass, phone, and map in utility slots. I can see the map when I hit M but I can't see me on the map. I don't see the time of day either. Is this working as intended? I would think at least the GPS would give me an icon where I am. Thanks!...

Moldy Food

Just after the main power grid went out, all the food I find is moldy. Even the food in the cupboards. So apparently does not matter if they spawn in the fridge or not. Before when the power grid was on the food spawned in the cupboards was fresh to aging. Bu not everything is either moldy or putrid. When I don't get is that most of the food that spawns does not even need to be in the fridge anyway. They can have a shelf life of more than a year. So suddenly it all goes moldy. cooking chicken

found a chicken in the fridge. Found an oven dish. Put oven dish on counter. Could not add chicken to counter. I have a stove. How do I cook the chicken? Thanks!
