All this time we have been preparing for you an update with vehicles and bug fixes in the game. But the most important thing is moving the project from Unreal Engine 4 to Unreal Engine 5.

In the future, this will allow rendering a better picture and light, making smooth loading between locations, a new loot saving system and a more various enemy system. As well as additional mechanics, bringing the experience of survival closer to realistic.
You could even say that the game will feel completely new!

The old loot save system conflicts with the new version of the game engine, and we have added 2 Large Containers with bonus resources and weapons. If you have nothing missing or you are starting a new game (which we recommend to get a new survival experience with a car at the start of the game) - use the bonus resources at your discretion.

Saving resources in new storages and planting in greenhouses are temporarily not available. We are working hard on rebuilding the save system for the new version of the game engine. Your feedback, as always, helps us to quickly track and correct errors.

Change Log

• Added vehicles with the ability to use the trunk to transport loot (and even buildings to a new base), refuel it and hit enemies.

• If the car sinks in water, it will automatically respawning at the base.

Get ready to experience some exciting nights on the Island as it's time for the All Saints' Night Challenge!

From October 22 to November 5, the Halloween Event awaits you, in which the sky turns an ominous red and all zombies become stronger and more dangerous!

New quest - find 5 carefully hidden smiling jack-o'-lanterns to unlock the reward!

And let these nights become a little safer for you with our Big Update, which will be released very soon - you can travel around the Island by car, collect resources in the trunk, you can even move your base to a new place that you choose yourself.
But for now... try to survive these few nights and complete the quest!

Hello everyone, we are Tiny Magicians studio and this is a devlog about our upcoming game Outbreak Island. Today we're going to talk about what makes our game unique compared to other survival sims, show some basic gameplay, and talk about the creation and development of the dynamic open world in Outbreak Island.

In the game, you will have to survive as a detective. Hunting and farming are at your service for saving your own life. And don't forget about the sleep - there is a tent for this purpose in the game. The campfire is not just a source of light, but also a tool for cooking. You can also pass the time on this scary island quite comfortably around the campfire.

By the way, the nights in Outbreak Island are very beautiful, but dangerous. And a couple of bullets are obviously not enough to survive them. This is the point at which Outbreak Island deviates from other survival sims. One of the detective's main survival tools is his camera. You can use flash to blind the mysterious Transformed, and escape. Plus, a tripod will help you remotely observe what's going on and even hunt.

The in-game island is not only about nature, but it’s also an abandoned city, factories, farms, and military bases. Exploring these places is not an easy task, as useful items are sometimes hidden in unexpected places. So you will have to jump as much as possible.

The weather in Outbreak Island is constantly changing. It can go from a calm, clear day to a wild storm. Don't forget to find shelter! And by the way, check out how the sound changes if you go indoors.

We are also happy to tell you that in Outbreak Island you can travel not only on foot, but also by car.

Since we're talking about the island as a whole, it's really big and varied in the game. Mountains, forests, hills, glades and caves. We pay great attention to visuals everywhere: not only natural, but also man-made: buildings and rooms look as if they were really inhabited by people once.
