We've been journeying through the Wastelands for (almost) a week! Can you believe it? Time flies when you're out there doing backflips and battling an entire invading army.

We wanted to take a moment to shout out a massive THANK YOU from everyone at Brainwash Gang and Headup for such an awesome response and for your support! ːsteamhappyː

We are listening to your feedback, and we're working hard to address all the issues that could have only come up with such a massive amount of active players. So, an additional thanks to everyone of you who spent some time reporting bugs on our Discord server[discord.gg] and the Steam forums!

Now, let's get down to business. We've been deploying bug-fixing patches almost every day, fixing video codec issues, software incompatibilities, and gameplay bugs (and typos!). But there is still work to do!

Here's what we're up to right now:

• Backup system to avoid loss of progress after crashes.

It's really incredible! Laika has been available for just over 24 hours and we have already received so much feedback from all of you out there! Please keep it coming, as it is highly valuable for us! ❤️

And so we could release the very first update 1.0.3 for Laika: Aged Through Blood today. The update fixes some bugs and also makes some small changes. This is the complete list:

Bug Fixes:

• Fix (Softblock): Player can't get back on the bike after hopping off in certain parkings
  
• Fix: Camera is off-centered to the right in some areas of the Mines
  
• Fix: Typos and incorrect button prompts in tutorial boxes
  
• Fix: Destroying a dragged bomb doesn't roll back the hook

Changes:

• The game now checks for completed steam achievements when the save is loaded
  
• Lowered default deadzone for right joystick to 0.2
  
• Added cooldown to UI input to improve navigation
  
• Updated credits

As Laika: Aged Through Blood will finally release on PC tomorrow, we thought we'd drop a little summary of what you can expect from the game we have worked on for the last years.

We've really enjoyed making the game and are feeling extremely proud of the final result, and are confident that you will have a great time with Laika and her trusted motorbike. Anyways, we think that it's a good idea to lay out the features of Laika: Aged Through Blood open and honestly, so you know what to expect before spending your hard-earned money.

Here you go, this is Laika: Aged Through Blood in a nutshell:

• A single-player, western inspired motorvania set in a post-apocalyptic wasteland that tells the story of a mother coyote warrior who descends on an endless path of vengeance to take back what her people lost
  
• Vehicular Twin-stick shooter combat with 5 different upgradeable weapons, a skill-based power-up system and 6 unique big boss fights
  
• A hand-drawn post-apocalyptic world filled to the brim with strange characters, loads of missions and detailed environments to explore
  
• A deep story about a mother-daughter relationship, vengeance and loss translated to 8 languages.
  
• Around 12-15 hours of gameplay to complete the main storyline
  
• +20 collectible cassettes hidden around the world with Beícoli’s songs to listen to while exploring and shooting
  
• Full mouse + Keyboard, with accessibility features such as auto-aim and the ability to slow down dialogue

So, what does that mean for you? It's quite simple! You can enjoy the game on the Steam Deck wherever you are: at home on the couch, inside a plane, on a bus or a train, or even during your lunch break at work - just about anywhere!
