Giving this a tentative recommendation. TL;DR: It has the potential to be pretty good, but the early access version has some issues (both intentional and unintentional) that I'm not entirely confident will be fixed in the full release

Pros:
-Lots of care put into clever hidden interactions, in some cases allowing you to skip bosses entirely
-Satisfying boss fights when you figure out what to do

Cons:
-Very bad communication. I initially figured this was just due to the translation being bad, (which it is, and I don't have high hopes for that being rectified in the future) but reviews from Chinese players (the game's native language) seem to echo the sentiment. With enough trial and error it's not too bad to figure out what works best for each boss attack, but there's an abnormal and un-fun amount of friction involved in that process. Sometimes you'll hit a boss at what seems like the right time or with the right attack, but they just shrug it off and combo you with no feedback as to what you did wrong. Luckily there's literally 0 punishment for dying, aside from restarting the boss fight, so there's no reason not to just trial and error it
-Basically non-existent level design. Not so bad in the first stage, but particularly noticeable in the second. This isn't a huge huge issue since the main focus of the game is the bosses and finding secrets, but as it stands rather than being a potential selling point the level design just winds up being unmemorable. Although I would probably be singing a different tune if there were limited lives and had to run back through to re-challenge the boss
