I quit the game 5months ago i hardly played it, and now that i redownloaded the game. I'm apparently banned for botting, an inactive account was banned?ok lmfao, and they doubled down and rejected my appeal. Just wasted an hour redownloading the game. I also noticed others in the reviews that have had this issue so i guess whatever, best to stay away from this game

If you have a group of at least 7 other people who'd be willing to play with you regularly you'll get to have fun. Otherwise, don't bother.
You don't want to interact with 90% of this game's community, trust me.
The old raids have been nerfed into oblivion so you won't really get a good experience with them, although nobody plays them anyways so you won't find a lobby regardless. The most recent raids are full of gatekeeping, as they always have been, so nothing new but that means you probably would need to wait hours to even get into a lobby with no guarantee that people won't just quit on you after 1 or 2 tries.
I'd say the good thing about this game is the classes and the raids. The old raids that now are basically unplayable I mean. The newer ones are not as fun. But also, the hours you'd need to put in weekly in order to keep up (or catch up as a new player) make it an unpaid job that will burn you out quickly unless you're very determined to play this game.
All in all - not worth it.

Enjoy the card system, hope you got 2 years of time. - Runes, skillpoints, tripods, rapport, collectables (which grand playerpower) and much more. This is not an RPG, where you just have to grind the stuff you want, you HAVE to have all of it or people won't play with you.
Enjoy the bussing lobbies.
Enjoy the elitism.
And even people that enjoy the game. Half the time they play because of FOMO. The other half is because they need to grind gold for arbitrary systems.
Get into an other game that values your time and allows people to get into the game without insane barriers.
