An important update is coming this october 2022. The game will be expanded with new cards, in respect of the "dark" theme characterizing Arcano: The Trickery. Same mechanics, new strategies.
Furthermore a 50% discount will be applied.

As promised a new system for buying/selling cards has been developed. Now after a victory every player gets cards as well as GEMS as a reward. These gems can be traded for cards in the game shop. You may also sell your collected cards in excange for gems in order to manage your collection more freely!

A serious bug that prevented card text boxes from being loaded has been solved.

Now it is possible to play in 4 different modes:
- Training: same as before, you play against a copy of your own deck and there's no prize;
- Simple, normal or advanced match, where you challenge an A.I. with gradually increasing difficulty and tougher decks, but you may win proportionally rare cards.

- You may now change your mind and come back after clicking on the "Comparison" button;
- Better decorations for menu, text boxes, points and selection indicators;
- Added an options menu, where you can modify the audio and image quality.

Single player matches are going to be more interesting thanks to a massive improvement in the artificial intelligence algorithm. Now player 2 executes way more "logical" combos and also uses some special cards effects with more attention.

Numerous game mechanics issues have been solved. The most important ones:
- Changing language makes the deck building menu unable to recognize previously saved cards;
- Automatic text messages are not translated when sent between users playing with different languages;
- "Pyromancer" sends an error while attempting to make you draw another card;
- "Magic Pumpkin" and "Clay Golem" can be eliminated by the "Lava Flow" effect although their text box states that they cannot be eliminated this way;
- Some cards like "Black Cat" or "Fearful Fairy" are not correctly eliminated after the resolution of their effects;
- Before the conclusion of a comparison certain cards are still targeted while they have already been eliminated by the effects of other cards during the same comparison;

Game files containing info about decks and personal profile, with the number of victories and the collected cards, now are encrypted. Because of this new method older incompatible profile data will be cancelled!

The first update has solved some serious game-breaking bugs. Also, the message box translation between two PvP players with different languages is not mixed up anymore.
Next things to improve:
- enhancing the AI for single-player
- giving prizes even in single-player games
- improving the "prize cards" system
