Some solid, fun, tactical game play here. Building your deck, making tactical map movements and planning how to clear the Arena are all fun things.

You have two weapon slots, and the cards are colour based which means you need to balance that. Also the balance between damage and block is a fun struggle.

The game loop is solid, bug free and a slick UI makes putting orders in easy and enjoyable.

There are two few branches to make your own (fire build, block build, ranged build) and the movement system is a game design fail, because it removes a potential rich source of tactical fun as you out maneuverer your opponents. Its often frustrating with enemy AOEs and sheer numbers that your one hex move just doesn't get you out of harms way.

The content is a bit thin, I am running into the same bosses and enemies after 5 runs already. I'm not a fan of the huge pixel style art, it just looks cheap and lazy on my 4K monitor...
