I heard that these games have bad translations because they were amateur fan translators doing it and they added weird jokes to the games when these lines weren't in the original Japanese scripts. *Update* After much discussion it's clear from the players that one must start from the beginning, you cannot just jump in and expect a good experience, you will not understand much of what is going on. If interested start at a previous title, not this one. *Original Post* All those players saying you must play the previous titles first - I honestly don't have the spare time in my life for that. Hypothetically if I get the game's from this duology from two different vendors like one from here and one from gog does the carryover system still work
