Hello Demigods!

Update 1.04 “Armory” is now live!

This one comes with a ton of new stuff, improvements, bug fixes, reworks, and more.

So there’s Bad News, and Good News:

The Bad News:
Unfortunately, due to performance, technical reasons, and the upcoming multiplayer update, the Time Control abilities had to be removed from the game, including Time Reversal and Super Slow Motion. These abilities were built on an old, deprecated system that was causing more harm than good at this point. For now, Time Control will still have the same increased movement speeds, wall running, and a slightly better time slow than normal.

The Time Control power set will be overhauled with new abilities in the future.

Now for the good news: all the new stuff!

• New Demigod Avatar
  
• Male Vigilante Avatar now has hair and a facemask.
  
• Weapon Mod Support. Melee weapons can now be created in the Demi-Mod SDK and uploaded to mod.io.
  
• New Utility Belt System:
  
  • Weapons can now be slotted into a visible inventory at the player’s waist. This can be set to always on, disabled, only visible when power wheels are open, or only visible when the player’s hands are near the Utility Belt.
    
  • Weapons can be assigned in the new Loadout Interface in the Player Menu
    
  • Lose your weapon? No problem. By moving the hand over the utility belt and pressing trigger, you can spawn another weapon into the same slot.
    
  • When grabbing a Pistol or Rifle, the Utility Belt’s ammo slot will switch to the correct magazine.
    
• New Weapons: Bow, Arrow, Explosive Arrow, Shock Arrow, Grappling Arrow, Extendable Staff, Assault Rifle, Demigod Pistol, Pistol Magazines, Light Hammer
  
• Added new Weapon Models for Pistol, Shield, Hammer, Sword, Baton
  
• Added new ability for Shield, 'Bounce':
  
  • When charged and thrown, the shield will now bounce off of objects towards nearby enemies, or recalled to the player’s hand.
    
• Added new ability for Hammers: Recall:
  
  • When charged and thrown, hammers can cause large knockback to enemies and then be recalled to the player’s hand.
    
• Fire Power Set’s Explosion Mode is now a charged hold and release to activate. You can hold/charge for up to 3 seconds for a more powerful blast.
  

• Enemy Pistols and Rifles can now be dropped by enemies when defeated and used by the player.
  
• Updated Enemy Physics & Stats
  
• Upgraded Agent models
  
• Increased enemy bullet damage
  
• Improved enemy ability to deal knockback force to the player (if enabled in settings).

• Improved performance of Traffic & Pedestrian Systems.
  
• Added over a dozen new destructible billboards to the game. (Thanks Testers!)

Basic Mantling

• When grabbing the top of a flat ledge, tapping the jump button will move the player to that point if nothing is in the way.

• Fixed issue where some avatar mod’s heads & hands would be off.
  
• Fixed issue where some mods wouldn’t be usable after downloading.
  
• Fixed issue where enemies would sometimes lose collision physics.
  
• Fixed issue where enemies wouldn’t react to physical hits, or would pop back into place.
  
• Lots and lots of minor bugs squashed.
