That was 10 hours of fun.

While I’ve finished the game and unlocked all the achievements (which was surprisingly easy), the multitasking could have been handled much better. Percival and Hildred require too much micromanagement because of how the game is designed, with almost no action-queuing at all.

Some of the upgrades, especially ingredients, just add unnecessary chores. They don’t provide meaningful benefits and only make the game more of a mess. The only real upgrades that felt useful were the cat and the attendant.

That said, I still had fun. I wouldn’t call the game completely bad, but it’s definitely not great either. It really needs some quality-of-life improvements, especially better action-queuing and a reworked upgrade system.

For a short and cheap game, I’d recommend it especially if you can ignore the clunky gameplay and upgrade issues. But if it were any more expensive, I’d probably tell people to skip it.

For the price i bought this game, its pretty good in production - and normally I would give it a thumbs up but there are two problems with the game;

1. there's no action queue at all - which severely limits the game play. This game is pretty intuitive on its interaction, but the fact you have to try to do actions (most that require a chain of actions) for two characters between three floors makes it pretty irritating, dropping its score.

2. The "supply" is pretty heavily affected by the issue of the queue; If you are busy trying to keep the kitchen going, a person waiting to be taken care of in the tailors will leave, which means no supply to keep the kitchen going, and your rep is destroyed....all because of the queue. Even then, you just dont get enough meat to satiate the customer base you get - and that's just with two tables.

3. The overacting in the female voice actor is a little grating. That's a nit pick in comparison to the other issues.

Unless they provide a queue in the future, I cant give it a thumbs up. Sorry.
