Hello,

We have made the following changes to Oaths of Light:

Fixed some typos in both the English and French versions.
Adjusted the game's audio mix and levels, with the addition of an option in the settings menu to separately control the levels of music and sound effects.
Added an option to adjust the resolution in the settings.
Even more animals are now cuddly!

Characters design looks good i liked it.World details need some polishing with textures,because some details are very good and some looks like from early 2000. Bug Fix and QOL Update

Hello,

We have made the following changes to Oaths of Light:

It is now possible to confirm selections in the menus using the ENTER and SPACE keys for players using a keyboard.
The combat tutorial has been updated with more details to improve the understanding of blocking systems, skills, and the item bags.
Fixed a bug that prevented the completion of the 'Passion Mushroom' quest in the Gerlin Forest.
Fixed some of the in/out camera transitions that could trigger motion sickness.
Fixed a few scalability issues on some UIs.
Fixed a few collision bugs in map.
Fixed a few typos in English and French version.
Added Petting feature on some creatures.

Added an option to control the FPS in-game. You can now choose between 60, 120, or no limit.
Added an option to choose between fullscreen or windowed mode.

Oaths of Light is an amazing game! I truly enjoyed my time in playing on stream!

The developer is very receptive to feedback and even took the time to hang out in a 5 hour and 3 hour stream respectively in order to gather feedback - much of which was implemented almost the day after (petting a horse, some camera fixes) as well as other bug fixes that are in the works (text fixes, better audio balancing).

The game adopts an amazing "your choices actually do matter" approach, as opposed to the illusion of choice many other "choice" games have. From things such as having a different fight depending on if you did or didn't free something, NPCs being captured if you don't fight the correct enemy to even those NPCs being killed irrevocably if you don't succeed in specific combat fights.

There are absolutely things to improve, many of which the developer has confirmed are upcoming in the roadmap though minor adjustments such as the UI feeling a little clunky and difficult to navigate, not in terms of difficulty but more visibly.

Once Chapter 1 is polished up, I could definitely see this game doing well as a Crowd-funded effort to make it even better!

Overall though, it's definitely worth the price on Steam even if I did receive it for free. I've received a lot of games for free in my time, and most times I'd play for the allotted time on stream to fulfil the requirements and then never touch it again but with Oaths of Light I was completely hooked to the point I'm currently achievement hunting, so I would absolutely buy the game had I needed to.

A couple bugs

I equipped armor that increased bag slots to 7, but later when I checked the bag slots were missing and my total went back down to 5. When highlighting a different armor, it showed that it would lower my bag slot even further if I changed it. I guess it defaults back to 5 bag slots afterward or something. I didn't notice it right away, it was some time later. A second, worse, bug happened in the windmill basement when fighting mushroom men. Eden got paralyzed, and when her turn ended the game just sat the...

feedback

i enjoyed the game. good job and thank you for making it and will for sure get the next chapter. there is a couple things that can be fixed. there is occasionally wrong spellings of words. it not ALL the time so its not overly obnoxious but does stand out alittle. the other thing is certain monsters like the spiders, especially the big ones, will just kind of stutter back in forth in front of you trying to decide how to attack you instead of just attacking you lol....
