The most requested mode since launch is here: Caravan mode
A new mode with faster gameplay and no RNG.
To stay true to the game's core gameplay, the combo/time system is still there.
You still start with 99 seconds and can earn more time by making combos, but the enemy placement/spam won't let your run to last long. A great run lasts about 4 minutes + boss.
The trigger for the next wave to spam is having only one enemy left on the screen. You need to learn the best strategy to keep your combo. You CAN combo the entire run.
There's no penalty for using specials.
You have 2 life points. Finishing a run without taking damage will give you 100k points for the boss instead of 50k.

We are also running a Caravan competition until February 3rd.

Last week we released our Halloween update - an extra mode in which you play as a spider.
This new mode is permanent, but online leaderboards will only be available for a month (Oct 20th to Nov 20th). After that, leaderboards will be closed and kept online.

The first three on Halloween - Score leaderboards will show up in SHMUP Mania Techbeat Heart's article, which is going to be available in December. How retro is that, right? :D

Hi everyone!
After watching many gameplays we've decided to add a new game mode. Check out the upcoming updates:

On Normal mode, enemies and bullets are a little slower and you can be hit one time (at the second time you're hit, you'll instantaneously die). The previous difficulty was renamed to HARD MODE.
Also, now you can access the turbo mode from the main menu (after unlocked).


We've added separated leaderboards for Normal, Hard and Turbo.
Online leaderboards can now be seen inside the game, not just on Steam.


We're also working on a special game mode for Halloween. Play as a spider!
This mode will only be available for a limited time with an exclusive leaderboard. After this period, the leaderbords will be left closed online. Coming October 20.
