LOVE THE GAME THO

I have been reading lately some criticism about this game. I started playing baseball simulation back in the late 80s. Hardball from accolade was one of my favorites. Personally, I think this is an amazing simulation, so complete and realistic. Not perfect( it's a simulation) but highly enjoyable. Keep up the good work , developers....

Every time I see someone praise the accuracy and realism of this game I am amazed !!! I have been playing OOTP since the original game came out----this game is at it's best as a fantasy game with fantasy players-----realism just isn't part of the game's strength. It simply does not have any bearing on the abilities of the real life players. I have pointed hundreds of examples between the OOTP forum and this one----just today an example of hoe unrealistic the game can be was illustrated. the All-Star teams ...

Is this game fun for you? I had a good preseason but now the entire team sucks. I'm not having much fun right now. Does it get better? I can't see playing this game if I don't reach the playoffs... I don't mind losing so much but it seems like a total waste of time if I play the entire 162 game season (without simulating) and end up with a losing season... What do you think?...

I have OOTP Baseball which I love. The 75% Steam sale has me interesting in purchasing OOTP 22. I guess my question is has their been enough changes to the game to justify me buying OOTP 22 or should I stick with OOTP 19?
