The new patch fixes several bugs that have been noticed by players:

• Fixed movement issues with metal shelf mesh colliders
  
• Fixed the chance of freezing on being tackled by the Antagonist in the North Wing
  
• Fixed issues with triggering "Examine" on the bomb puzzle note

The patch also moves/adds several story events that I feel better explain events around Harthorn:

• Fixed missing important story dialog in the South Wing by doing objectives in the wrong order
  
• Moved important dialog from Condemned East Wing to Condemned West Wing to not having repeating dialog on death

Some minor adjustments but will enhance gameplay (in particularly: not getting caught on shelves, missing important story moments, and rehearing the same dialog on dying).

It's winter break 1994 and schools out at Harthorn High School, but not all is silent in its empty classrooms and dark hallways...

In a sudden change: Harthorn has upgraded its security, including new locks, alarmed windows, and you patrolling it's halls as the new part-time security guard. One night aided by your radio dispatcher, April, you investigate a broken window not into the school, but out of it, which leads to a story-driven dive into psychological horror.

• Talking to April, solving puzzles, reading notes, and checking your map are keys to survival.
  
• You're not alone: carelessness is repaid with lethal consequences.

Genre: Harthorn is a short story driven psychological horror game with dialog, puzzles, and exploration at its core.

Another patch for Harthorn that adds and fixes a couple things:

• Added a crosshair that changes on dynamic objects
  
• Larger hitbox to pick up objects
  
• Increased Interact Distance on objects
  
• Bug fixes to South Wing and Safety At Last
  
• Optimized some textures

More patches will roll in over time to consistently improve the game.

Some quick fixes added to Harthorn based on player feedback, the big ones being the pressure plate puzzle and the battle with Victor.

• General: Audio balancing on UI elements
  
• Morning Shift: Fixed intro that caused delayed movement at beginning

• Condemned North Wing: Audio balancing
  
• Condemned West Wing: Fixed library door
  
• Condemned East Wing: Better diagram to solve pressure plate riddle
  
• Condemned East Wing: Fixed bug related to pressure plate timing
  
• Final Encounter: Updated pistol description
  
• Final Encounter: Decreased health of Victor substantially (he was harder than expected, props to those that took him down before the update hah)

Harthorn is now released on Steam, thanks to all that have been following its development.

Development on Harthorn is wrapping up and a release date has been set for October 27th at 3:00pm PDT (Just in time for Halloween).

A lot has been added in the past month including: a deadly riddle in an explosive filled school wing, more encounters with the antagonist, a final showdown, and Steam Achievements.

This week is filled with fine-tuning the items, puzzles, and all the various areas to explore. Then school is back in session and it’s time to experience Harthorn for yourself!
