my homie keep trying to start the game but it says "fatal error" and crashes

Had the preview build for about a week and still can't get past opening screen, I see the word MENU in BIG green letters with Single Player and Quick Match buttons below, hear about 4 notes of music and everything locks up requiring ALT-F4 to exit. Everything looks too big like image is zoomed in. When I get back to Steam I see my Oculus software has launched like this is a VR game. Looking forward to starting my preview/review as soon as this is playable. Running RTX3080. i9-9900 with 16gb ram...

i wanted to get all steam achievements but i completed the tutorial first, is there any way to get the other achievement

Me and a few buds were gonna give it a try but we kept getting stuck on waiting for players when we had the correct amount that was listed.

Since Kinetic Edge is developed using Unreal Engine 4 , it would be great to see a Linux release.
