The greatest game of all time

I love Super Monkey Ball and Banana Mania scratches that itch and absolutely delivers. You get lured in with the cute characters and low difficulty of the first world - then boy, does it get tough quick. Monkey Ball can be frustrating at times, but almost always feels fair. Few games make me tense up during tight movements or levels like Monkey Ball. Single player is a blast to play, but you can squeeze out many more hours of gameplay with friends via the "party" mode. Super Monkey Ball Banana Mania is an easy recommend from me.
