Looks kind of dead

When first playing the game. I thought oh man there's so little RNG in this game. Then the more and more you play and see who's winning, the more you realize every single winner is determined mainly by unit RNG. For a game that's supposed to have less RNG, I just don't see it. Loving the game otherwise....

The rating system is not described anywhere that I can find. Is that like a leaderboard rank, or is it something similar to an elo rating? If the latter, what is considered a "good" rating? What are the ranges? What's the highest one? I just got my first rating, at 3300, and I have no concept whether that's good or bad. There is nothing to compare it to....
