FLUID ENGINE is a fantastic project that will completely change wallpaper.


Personally, I love to play good loud music and this app. My screen just explodes!


We had to make some updates to make it even better.


So the fluid system has been checked once again by filling some holes in the code.

The shaders are optimized to give you a better experience.

The new ready-made presets has been added.

Still, you can make your own presets and save them.


The FLUID ENGINE is available also for Windows 11 !!!

Heyyyyy,

Now you can use your microphone to move the fluid on your screen. The updated menu has new Microphone section where you can set everything for your needs.

It might be useful for all Live Streamers that want to use it as a background that will react on voice. This will make your "Stream" more interesting.

We have something interesting for you. From now on Fluid Engine can react to any sound from your computer. (YouTube, Spotify, Music Player, etc.)

We have written special scripts that read the frequencies heard on Windows 10.

We also added sliders from high, medium and bass so that you can adjust the fluid to your type of music. Different types of music react differently so I recommend trying your own settings.

We have also added a new vertical slider so that you can quickly reduce or increase the sensitivity to the music.

Attention. By changing the volume of the music, you will change the fluid behaviour. If you listen very quietly, the fluid will not react. Use the vertical slider to quickly adjust the power to the music.

You can use this wallpaper as a background while streaming (hide icons and desktop bar) and the wallpaper will respond to the music.

In the menu, you will also find two new presets (3DM Music1, 3DM Music2) with preset settings. Of course, you can create and save your own presets.

We must admit that this design looks amazing when it reacts to music. Working with him we have seen some really strange actions but in the end, it looks very nice.

On Steam on a video, you can see it in action.

We recommend updating the Fluid Engine to check the new settings.

Big System Update

We have repaired most / all of our wallpaper systems.

Wallpaper design turned out to be something more difficult than we thought. Animated wallpapers for Windows 10 require some system settings. Despite many of our messages, someone still missed them and problems began.

After many tries, it's Big System update is ready. Most problems have probably been fixed.

90% of negative reviews describe what has been fixed:

-I can't control the wallpaper
-I can't turn off the wallpaper
-I can't uninstall this wallpaper
-My menu disappear
-Where is Taskbar to enable the second menu?
-The wallpaper is in window
-False antivirus alert
-Problem with Inputapp.exe process
-3DM website runs on my screen
-Wallpaper won't pause when I start the game
-and more

These problems should be fixed now!

In addition, the new system recognizes if the Windows 10 settings are not correct. After detecting, the wallpaper will automatically change them or show you a video on how to set it. The wallpaper itself will open a window to change the settings to "adjust the best appearance", then click the green "DONE".

There are more patches but the competition is not sleeping so we will keep them to ourselves.

The user with the correct settings will not see the difference at the beginning but in the end, the project will work much better with it.

We are very pleased that finally, we have created the system with which we are satisfied.

Everything has been tested on many PCs and everything works as it should. If you have any problems, please write below. We will fix immediately.

Some programs may still block our projects, but this is very, very rare.

I would also like to apologize to those who had problems with the settings. Creating wallpaper requires certain technologies but now everything should play.

Hello,

Thanks to our supporters we could improve some parts of Fluid Engine. In total, we did 6 tweaks that should improve the experience. Also, all problems should be gone ;D all thanks to your comments and ideas. ;D

We decided to add the ability to choose your own colour by special sliders when you set the colour group to CUSTOM. Then you can set the range of colour to appear on the fluid by additional sliders.

If there are any problems, please report them here and we will certainly help.

We are back with something really special.

Probably it's our last Engine style wallpaper where we play with VFX effects. Our fluid is very complicated and was really hard to create in Unity3D as it's based on shaders calculations. We have tried a few times, we have hired a few specialists to archive this unique look....we all failed. When we hit the wall, just before when we almost drop this project we tried the last time and gave up part of the work to a foreign studio that was certain that they would succeed. After a few weeks, our project was saved and ready to add our 3DM magic ;D

At a later stage, we focused on creating a menu that would give you a lot of opportunities to change the behaviour of the fluid and the overall appearance.

As a standard, we've also added the ability to add your own text, logo or watch.

We hope you enjoy the project as much as we do despite many problems with its implementation. It was a big challenge for us and we are happy that we have it behind us.
