Does anyone have advice on how to handle Time Trials? They seem impossible to me. I've gotten to the point where I can do the regular races fine, getting many top 3 finishes... but I can't even manage a top 10 in Time Trials. I even tried to sign a TT specialist and start him in hopes of that helping. He actually did the worst of my riders! It seems the AI can always move much further than any of my riders can each turn. Anyone ever have a race that wildly exceeded your expectations? I'm in year 3 of my first career mode attempt. My riders are all roughly level 5. I signed up for the Federal Bank Open. It's not the type of race I'd normally try, but it was a minor sponsor goal, so I just went with it. If you don't know, it's one of those races that that pro teams can enter as well and there were definitely some that did. Not only that, but it had a full 10 time sign-up and I had one of the worst teams in the field. It ...

I notice that anytime I'm part of the escape group, the peloton makes a mad dash to chase me down and catch up or pass me... but if the AI escapes at the beginning of a race, the peloton makes the absolute most passive moves and fall a good 50 nodes behind so the escapees basically win the race for free the only way for AI escapees to NOT win is if I make sure at least one of my riders is in P0 and force the peloton to move further....

Just got the game a week ago, on my third season (Normal diff) and just promoted to Pro. Threw myself into Fruinian Masters for a lark, and I noticed that almost immediately SIX high level (10, 10, 10, 9, 8, 7) riders with full E&A dropped off the back of the Peleton, never to be seen again. Is this a typical occurrence? It doesn't make a lot of sense to me strategically, since they ended up burning a fair amount of resources to go nowhere when not even being chased by a DNF cutoff....
