I feel like this game get's a bad rep despite being pretty obviously just a spin-off. It's nowhere near as good as the original but I also never expected it to be. It's fun, charming because of the source material and a decent bullet hell that has fun unlockables in the way we know and love.

The worst I can say about this game is that I found it much more awkward with controller. Besides that, it's just a polished game that's playing it safe. There's nothing "out there" it's relatively short and the game becomes quickly trivial once you unlock a couple decent upgrades to have pop up in your runs.

Overall, if you like bullet hells and are a fan of Enter the Gungeon, pick it up on a sale and you'll probably get around ten hours out of it before it gets boring due to lack of difficulty.

this game honestly goes hard as hell. its a lot of fun genuinely. people have been overhating on this game for so long that i started to believe it as well, and while its not as good as the original Enter the Gungeon, its still a ton of fun and once you get used to the controls, the game becomes almost as fun, just with a few features from Enter the Gungeon that are omitted (which there are some glaring ones mind you).

this mainly being synergies, and co op, which are my two biggest complaints.

aside from that i genuinely think this game goes hard and is a lot of fun, just obviously a lot more limited compared to Enter the Gungeon, as this game was less ambitious and is obviously a smaller game in scope (originally being developed as an exclusive for Apple Arcade on Apple devices (so essentially was made to be played on a phone first and foremost)
