nice game sometimes really frustrating

Aragami 2 is a stealth based adventure-action game which you need to overcome many levels in order to help understand what has happened to your soul and the ones who are currently living in a village between this world and the spiritual realm.

The gameplay is where this title shines the most, and all the elements of a good stealth game are present here. Noise, hiding from light sources, objects that cause enemies to have amnesia and stop searching for you, NPCs finding out dead bodies, everything is neatly implemented and doesn't feel too hard to understand. It is a difficult game to master, though. Another good addition is the possibility to play in co-op with two more friends on the same session. That makes missions which requires target assassinations much easier.

Even though the devs of this game aren't around anymore, I was surprised by how much of a good feel I got from playing this title. I could see the passion they had when making a game based on a fictitional Japan.

I recommend this game for anyone who wants a modern take on the Tenchu franchise, but way more forgiving, and with a chaotic co-op multiplayer.

The first one was so good I was excited to play the sequel, but in an attempt to make it bigger and better they ruined the formula by adding combat and removing the core mechanics that made the first one feel so good.

Aragami 2 is not a terrible game by any means, but sometimes simple is best.
