If you play single player online, you can experience lag in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ single player game
If you try to load an online save file offline, sorry it's just broken.

unit point cap is totally horrible. If you run out of points after your AFV is repaired, the game announces that you can't use your own AFV unit. The three crew can only stand outside the tank and be shot.

Pretty good game. A lot better than the last one. Not as many bugs and better UI. Definitely a must play.

This game is another shameless cash grab, jokes on me for purchasing Assault Squad 1 & 2, which were also pretty much the same game. One of the only differences being Steam hosting instead of Game Spy. Luckily the modding community for the older games stepped up, and actually delivered content that would improve the game. Rather than recycling the same assets for literal generations, and destroying their customer base from shameless cash grabs.

I will be returning this game, it is an absolute disaster. Everything from the UI, AI, maps and game play are atrocious. They took the whole premise of the game and flipped it on its head, to chase players from other demographics. They've made the game more like the Wargame franchise and further away from what we know as MEN OF WAR. There was a reason I bought all the games in both franchises, because they were a DIFFERENT experiences from each other.

I also wanted to mention that the game seems completely unfinished and rushed, which is insane to me considering how long it has been since a follow-up in this particular series.

Das Spiel is technisch so auf dem stand vor 25 Jahren.

I like the new system with trenches, and buildable fortifications. Graphics are improved compared to previous iterations, albeit not great. Building fortifications are broken, units cannot hide in buildings and instantly becomes targets for everything, no use in having your guys inside any building. The maps are way to small. Arty reaches all over the map. If you play against another arty player the average lifespan of your arty is like 1 minute. Same issue with planes. They reach their target in seconds and if you're playing tanks you will have to be quick to move them when you hear a plane. Frankly, I think bigger maps would solve a lot of the issues I'm seeing in MP. Unit reinforcements needs an overhaul. I see way too many games where players run out of units before the end of the game and just quit early since they have nothing more to do. Maybe a slow regeneration of unit pool is a solution? Now it sounds like I'm only critical. I've always supported the franchise, and I want the MOW games to keep coming. I think this is a good game albeit it needs some tweaking! The amount of content is crazy, you have so many ways of playing the game both alone or with others. The research tree is a fresh take never seen before in the MOW series. Recommended, not only for fans, but it's a good RTS overall!

A nice follow up, ww2 with so much details, if you loved Company of heroes but want a lot more realism, this game is a pearl of ww2 rts
