One of the best games I've ever played in my entire life.

Story rich with a lot of ups and downs, this game plays with you emotionally and physically.

The gameplay itself has a really good difficulty curve, beign the first stages (and somewhat later ones) that are hard but you can get used to it and the overall mechanics with ease.

As for the story... I'ts truly an emotional masterpiece by MICA team and X.D, you get attached pretty easily with all of the characters, specially the protagonists and their inner and outer struggles to find peace in this cruel war that they got stepped on.

AND THE SOUNDTRACK IS TRULY ONE OF THE BEST WORKS I'VE LISTENED BY VANGUARD SOUND AND LUMINIUM STUDIO, each chapter has some unique osts for some important battles and certain scene at the final part of later chapters that evokes a profound, tragical and yet peaceful feeling but that is spoiler haha

Finishing this review, please give it a try, It's truly a fantastical experience to live by.

Note: It's not necessary to play previous games like Girls' Frontline to understand the plot, but if you played before you can recognize and enjoy some of the little references from Gfl1 and some of Gfl2! (please collect all the documents for a suprise!!)

I really like this actually (I was even reading the story when I usually skip it), I just have to finish the game

Fun game. It can be somewhat difficult and punishing but it autosaves every turn so mistakes don't require you to restart the mission unless you screw yourself over several turns in advance without noticing. I liked the story and could follow along well enough even without having played the other games in the setting although some of the details remain unclear to me. Unfortunately the translation can be a bit spotty. It's perfectly fine around 90% of the time but there are occasional typos, small bits of the UI can be in chinese and sometimes cutscene subtitles disappear too quickly because the characters finished talking in japanese. Also I feel like the translated dialogue doesn't quite match what the voice actors are saying.
In the last third of the game, during the fourth chapter you replay a bunch of missions from before with some of them being slightly remixed. It makes sense story wise but it feels like padding and replaying stealth missions is especially tedious even though you can ignore some of the stealth the second time around. The new missions in chapter 4 are great however, and generally make up for it. I liked the finale a lot although it's got me itching for more.
