Hello miners! It took a while but I'm proud to give you the Scanning update! A scanner ability, analyzer building, harvester customization, minimap, a lot of new stuff! I hope you enjoy it!

Patch Notes

Features:
-Added Scanner ability.
-Added Artifact analyzer building.
-Added Workshop building. Allowing you to customize your harvester!
-Added Artifacts and Harvester components that can be scanned. These will remain discovered when starting a new game.
-Added Minimap, allowing you to see scanned areas and their items.
-Added Energy Cells currency. Find these by scanning Volantis and use them to construct the beacon.
-Added Vsync to video options.
-Replaced the 'New Discovery' and 'Reward Received' popups with a scrolling text at the harvester.
-Added 4 Artifact achievements.
-In case specific resource is not obtainable anymore, you can buyout its requirement for credits at the beacon.

Balance changes:
-Increased size of several layers of the map.
-Moved Ore Compressor research to Tier 2. Added Portable Refinery to Tier 3. Added Quantum Storage to Tier 4.
-Base fuel tank changes from 20L to 25L.
-Reduced Tier 3 research blocks points gain from 25 to 10. Reduced Tier 4 research cost from 500 to 200 points.

Fixes:
-Fixed a bug where refueling at the Fuel Station did not work when starting a new game, after completing the game.
-Tweaked some loud sounds.
-Fixed death sound not being effected by the Effects volume slider.

Hello everyone!

It's been a while since I last gave you an update on Mines of Volantis. I am working very hard on a few new systems that will give you new ways to explore Volantis. I won't give away too much yet, but it's about scanning and analyzing artifacts hidden on the planet.

These changes will add a more interesting experience and also more replayability. This update will be FREE and is NOT a DLC.

Testing will start soon and I hope to bring these awesome features to you before the end of the year.
