Today, with both excitement and anxiousness, we are here to announce the Kelipot 1.0 full release update, putting an end to the game’s Early Access status.

We are excited, because after almost 11 months, Kelipot has finally reached its full release. The fourth World is here, bringing into the game a fifth level, dozens of new enemies and many new items. The players may now uncover the full story, to accompany Abel as he delves into the heart of the mystery and unearthing the truth beneath this world.

We are anxious, because our journey through the development of Kelipot has not been an easy one either. Will we be able to satisfy everyone’s expectations with the 1.0 release?

Nonetheless, there is one thing we wish to say to all of our players: Thank you!
We were only able to get this far because of your interest and support, and so we will strive to deliver on our promise.

The English version now covers the content released in the previous update. The new content is being processed right now and will be updated in the near future.


Kelipot 1.0 Full Release Patch Notes
Introduced the fourth World and all of its related contents.
Introduced a Boss Rush challenge mode.
Introduced the new level: The Cloudspire.
Added several new Boss battles.
Added over 10 new fiends.
Added the various new soulgems.
Added several high difficulty quests.
Added the Music Room option.
Added the NPC Fenge.
Added the “Double Jump” and “Power Slash” abilities, which can be unlocked by progressing through the story.
New Items: Hunting Journal, Serrated Axe, Gale Horn, Khanjar Roulette, Soul Binder.


Fix the map texture problem in the tutorial level.
Remade the mud texture and animations in Elias’ Boss battles.
Changed various combat sound effects.
Adjusted various quest description texts.
Adjusted the Cathedral level map to prevent clipping issues.
Added more map varieties to the Castle, Ruins, Laboratory and Diocese levels.
Adjusted various dialogue errors.
Fixed the bug of Carter sometimes falling from mid-air during battle.
Fixed the bug of Elias sometimes falling during battle.
Fixed the bug of Casimir not being able to use certain abilities.

Dear players! Kelipot’s first major content update of the year—Onward! Reversing Wheel of Defied Commandments!—is here at last!

This expansion will open up a new world (The Melded World), a new level (Diocese of Ofanim), 4 new Boss fights, 9 new enemy types, as well as several dozen new items and equipment. What adversities await the tiger prince Abel in this new world? Please step into the game and find out for yourself!

Kelipot will be participating in the Steam Summer Sale. A 20% discount will be available from June 23 – July 10. This content update is free for all who have purchased the game.

And finally, we would like to sincerely apologize for the delay in translations and multi-language support. Our progress has unfortunately been affected by the coronavirus outbreak and lockdown. Translations are still in progress and will hopefully be installed in the near future. We are sorry for the inconvenience and hope you can enjoy the results to come.



Kelipot version V0.2.0 will be released on June 23. This update has made changes to how the entire game progresses, as such we recommend that players start a new save in order to enjoy the full experience. However, existing saves will not be impacted and can still be used as normal.
Listed below are the details of the contents added in this version:

New Content:
· The third world and all of its related contents have been added, the Diocese of Ofanim can now be accessed.
· Added 4 new Boss fights.
· Added 9 new fiend types.
· Implemented the Quest system, including a large amount of side-quest content.
· Added certain items that can be accumulated. These items can be obtained by completing quests and may be exchanged for HP, Gold or Soulgem Points in certain places.
· The Soulgem upgrading system has been overhauled.
· The process by which certain runes are obtained or learned has been changed.
· Implemented the Fallen Tiger feature, players may receive healing or Gold from the locations where they previous died.
· Talismans can be obtained after completing certain quests, these items will allow the player to infinitely restart certain Boss fights should they die during the attempt.
· Challenge levels can be unlocked after completing certain quests, beating these trials will reward the player with powerful items.
· Added 10 new types of fiend Soulgems, with 30 variations in total.
· New Ultimate Skills: Death, Fortune, Strength, Star, Empress.
· New Passive Items: Zodiac Wheel, Gem of Undine, Chichikov’s Ticket.
· New Secondary Attacks: Thunder Link, Exotic Scroll, Chaser Bolt, Archlich Scepter, Silver Cage, Spear of Malice, Imploding Shot, Murk Blaster.
· Added special behaviors to the fiends in the first three levels who are under the effect of “Devout”.
· Added 4 Speed Trials.
· Added several mission chests, these can be opened multiple times once the player has obtained certain key items.
· Added a shortcut feature, a special location can be directly teleported to once the player has obtained certain key items.
· Replaced several sound effects, changed the music used at certain points.
· Added 5 new in-game CGs.

Adjustments:
· Adjusted the behavioural pattern of fiends in the second and third level.
· Dash and Ultimate Skill can now cancel attack animations.
· Remade certain special effects.
· Modified the effect of several runes; added a rune that allows fiends to drop potions.
· Adjusted the invincibility frames of several Boss fights.
· Adjusted the text of several UI features.
· Removed several redundant speed trials.
· Replaced parts of the animation for several fiends.
· Removed the old placeholder encounters for Thatch, Huan, Larilyn and Cookizi.
· Adjusted the probability calculation for various randomized features, to limit the difference extreme luck may make during a run.
· Adjusted the layout of the Results screen, now includes results for quest-related content as well as the “Retained Items” feature unique to the third world.
· Fixed the problems that the “Falling Blossom” secondary attack occasionally had.
· Adjusted the use of certain keys during dialogue, pressing the space bar or enter key can now also advance the dialogue.
· Revised many background visuals, added various animated details and increased the noticeability of important terrains such as platforms.

· Fixed the bug where [Passive Ability] Piercing Bullet does not allow the projectiles generated by [Secondary Attack] Sentry Golem Soulgem to pass through walls.
· Fixed the bug where Rat Sentinels will loop their sleep animation upon touching a jump pad.
