The characters are amazing. The story is amazing. The gameplay is amazing. The soundtrack is amazingly amazing. Everything is amazing. Love this game.

Underrated af. Please give sequel

It was a fun experience, but I kinda expected more.
- Combat is...ok. More entertaining than fun, and very repetitive.
- Exploration is kinda ok, given the linearity of the game.
-- Tip!: There are points of no return all the time, so use the compass to see where to go, and then explore any other path before progressing.
- The environments can be really pretty and detailed. There's plenty of little graphic bugs with the characters and stuff, though. And some cheap effects here and there.
- Platforming is kinda clunky, but ok.
- The best thing for me was the Guardians' dialogues and interactions (in cinematics too, but specially gameplay). Sometimes they felt just taken from one of the movies. On the other side, there are sooo many conversations (which is good), that they interrupt themselves to start another, just because you picked a dialogue option or are simply advancing at normal pace (which is... not good).
-- I played in spanish, and almost all the Guardians' voices are the same than the movies! (Not Starlord though).
- Some weird decisions with game progression and difficulty spikes. The final boss of chapter 15 is just horrible. Played in Normal.

All in all, a just ok game in general that can shine at times, and if you like the characters / the movies you might find something to keep you hooked until the end.

Better story than most Marvel movies.

I love this game. it is extremely fun. The game play fight mechanics are a little crazy at first but you get used to them rather quickly and its a lot of fast paced fun! i am playing on a controller and i highly recommend it. Theres a lot of banter in this game. They will respond to what you do or make comments, most of the time making fun of you for it. Quill takes it in stride and dishes back. If you enjoy the Guardians of the Galaxy movies you will really like this game. It is like playing a new Guardian's movie. Whole new story then the movies. I didnt know that until i talked to someone about it. The game is beautiful too. A lot of background about these characters is given. I enjoy finding different outfits for them to wear. I feel like ive explored everywhere but im still missing a lot! Im on Chapter 14 out of 16 and im 28 hours in. Hats off to the Devs. you all did a killer job

This is my review for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy(2021). The story of the Guardians done without a single flaw. Drax is Drax the Destroyer; not a comedic relief and all of the other characters & Guardians were written SO well like Lady Hellbender. I think she was done perfectly, her voice actor is fantastic and her scenes were awesome, just an all around great representation of such a cool character. The story of this game is incredible and there are points that will leave you amazed, graphically I mean. This game is demanding for your PC but very stunning & beautiful. I just wish they played out the story differently instead of doing the fake ending stuff they did but it wasn't that bad, cool concept. Just maybe not executed the best way possible. The music placement is incredible, maybe the best music placement I've seen in a video game. You have to give the developers credit when they make an entire 80s rock album to go with the game, so much effort put into this game by the whole team. This game is just so good if you love Marvel & the GOTG, the only reason this game isn't perfect is because I think it's too long, could of been wrapped up a little sooner but the ending made it all worth it, awesome every time. 9/10
