I followed the poems directly (Toad mentioned - go Toad path) and also tried matching each crossroad with the poem hints (star drawing - go Toad path, hear horn - go Turtle path). It either goes to the big statue with the scroll, or takes me back to one of the crossroads. Going bottom-left at the crossroads where there's no statue at that path (owl w/ baby crossroads map) SHOULD take me to a new map, it seems. Tried restarting game completely, no luck....
