This patch's focus is addressing feedback and fixing bugs.

What's new?

GameModes
This update introduces game modes.
You can select a game mode for your existing save or select one when you create a new game.
Currently, there's 2 with a Sandbox and a Simulation mode.

Electric Switches
Now you can use switches to turn on or off your electric equipment as well as a light-sensitive automatic switch that you can use to toggle your electric objects at night or at daytime.

Multitool
Added a multitool to the default inventory. You can use this to move or remove your placed objects (electric, decoration, sticks etc..)

Time of day speed
Slowed down the time of day system's speed by feedback.
Previously a full 24-hour cycle happened in 20 minutes, now it's 35.

Battery Power
By feedback increased the battery's power from 2000w to 3000w. With this and the automatic night switch, now it should be enough for the night. (but I'll keep an eye on this)

Plant watering with the Jerry Can
You can now water plants with the jerry can too. This was not intended but was reported as a bug and it makes sense. Water from the can or the jerrycan should be the same.

Plantersticks are not sellable anymore
Temporarily took out the planter sticks from the sellable items.
They sold for way too much and made the game economy pointless.
This might be revisited in the future.

Built-in FPS meter
Added a built-in FPS meter that you can toggle in the Debug menu.

Tutorial
Added a tutorial description for filling your watering can with water.

Fixes

Can't sell bug
Fixed a bug where if anything physics-related (like a vehicle) blocks your laptop in the container you can't sell stuff because the game thinks you want to drop the sellable item to said physics object.

Can't delete older saves
Fixed a bug that prevented the deletion of the saves that came from the older save system.

Clockbox
Fixed a bug where your clock box disappeared once you entered a vehicle.

Yellow line in the world
Fixed a visual bug where a yellow line appeared in your world without any purpose.

Can't load save
Fixed an issue where the game would stuck on the loading save screen when loading a game.

Landscaper achivements
Fixed an issue where you needed to cut 100 trees to get the achievement instead of 10 and the second and third stages not getting activated.

The first patch for the new update is now live!

What's changed?
*Fixed an issue where some plant's models were still visible after harvesting and or plants would appear as fully grown when planting and became small later on.

*Fixed a mistype in the tutorial instructions

*Fixed a graphics issue where flowers would cast big and long cube-like shadows

*Fixed a physics bug where cut down trees just roll around on the ground and don't break

*Fixed a visual issue where if you harvested a weed, the falling leaves looked like another breed's leaves.

What's new?

Time of Day
The game now features a fully featured time of day system! Apart from the visuals, this influences gameplay too. Your plants need sunlight to grow in the day or you can place an electric heater near them to grow at night. Lights have also been added to vehicles that turn on automatically at night. Also, you can sleep at night in your container to pass time.
Electricity
This update introduces a new electricity system! You can use solar panels to charge batteries at daytime and use electricity at night for lamps, heating your plants without sunlight and more to come!
New grass and landscape rendering system, visual redesigns.
The game now features new landscape microdetails, redesigned landscape materials with more "3D" look for the terrain without the use of expensive techniques like tessellation, and fast GPU-Powered geometry shader based grass system with photoscanned textures.
Major performance improvements
In this update aside from the grass, the whole tree and weed rendering systems have been rewritten. The game used unity's built-in game-object system for everything and while it was flexible, the performance was not enough. The new system uses GPU compute for batching and instanced indirect rendering done in a way that it's only transfers data between the cpu and gpu when needed. This means that you can grow a LOT more plants with more reasonable framerates It's might still not be ideal on some systems but this gives me a ton of possibility for future optimizations (for example jobified/multithreaded code, native datatypes, etc..) and i'll continue to improve on this as the game goes.
New In-game and Main menu UI/UX
Complete overhaul of the in-game ui for options, main-menu, saves and more (the aim was to bring the look more in-line with update1's UI inventory ui changes)
Game Guide
The game now features a detailed in-game guide about the core systems and their workings with video examples so hopefully, you get stuck less often.
Map Tablet
A drawing is now included in your default inventory. With this you can draw on the game map realtime, annotating where you want to make your land, what type of stuff goes where, etc..
Reworked game economy
Each weed now has different sell/buy price and yield characteristics. You can decide on a per seed basis whenever you want to grow a lot for cheap, grow less and more expensive stuff, and sell for more or somewhere in-between. Each weed has a new base yield of buds that you can increase with fertilizer too so you can calculate if fertilizer is worth it for your plants

Reworkred save system with Steam cloud save
The game now has the option for multiple save files/"worlds" at the same time. You can start a new savegame anytime and manage all your saved games easily in the main menu. Plus your saves will automatically sync with steam cloud saves across multiple computers or when reinstalling the game from steam. The rework means a lot of the common bugs/problems with saves (container not where you left it, container is gone, corrupted game loads, etc) is hopefully gone!

Additional updates:
Compass
Aside from the map tablet you now have a compass that always points to your container's location so you don't get lost out in the open.

Smooth virtual camera system
Every camera transistion in the game now has a smooth easing, no more hard camera cuts!

Skippable tutorial
The tutorial now can be skipped in a new game so you don't have to complete it every time you start a save just to go away.

Saving&Loading Improvements
Saved games load much faster than before, upon saving a game the save button changes the state to saving and game saved giving you more feedback.

Inventory Notifications
If you are in FPV mode you now get inventory notifications if something is added to your inventory.

Steam Achivements
The game now has unlockable steam achievements! It's just a few for now but expect more in the future.

Radio
You can now toggle the radion on/off in the container

Menu navigation
You can now close menus and prompts with the ESC key (shop, inventory, planter management, accahments etc..)

Removing Decorations
You can now remove your placed decorations with the case same as with the planter sticks.

Car from cutscene
The car now stays from your cutscene where it stopped and stays when you load a game.

Fixes

FPV vehicle driving "headbobbing" fix
When you used a vehicle in FPV mode sometimes it bugged and started playing a nodding head animation, this was a bit jarring at times

Harvester not working
The harvester attachment now works like it should

Planter attachment complete rework
Reworked the planter attachment, now you can remove your seeds from it back to your inventory, close the planter panel with ESC, and upon saving the game your seeds in every planter goes back to your inventory and gets saved.

Scizor keeps cutting when holding the mouse button
The scizor now works as intended. When you click it cuts once.

Planterstick removal
Fixed all the issues related to planterstick removal. (When you removed a planter stick the land/ropes stayed, sticks not getting removed from saves etc..)

Fertilizer save
The game did not save your current fertilizer levels when you had a fertilizer in your inventory it always got back to 100%

Several other save-game releated issues
With the reworked save system most of the save-game releated issues should be gone. I'll keep testing this as i go.

PS. The weed grow speed is not finalized yet.
Because of the time of day changes I'm still evaluating what would be the best regarding this.

As always I'll keep working on more updates for the game, there's still a lot I'd like to add :)
This update took way more time than I initially anticipated, I don't plan on making the pauses between updates this long.

Hello Farmers!
I'm happy to announce that the game is back on Steam!
You can read all about what happened down below but first, some new things in the latest patch:

All new higher definition vehicle models!
Floating HUD for vehicles (motor torque, attachment state, keybinds)
Manual vehicle attachment activation/deactivation (no more always-on attachments)
First Person view mode inside vehicles
Fertilizer now adds yield to a plant instead of growing faster (it was a popular request to make something with the fertilizer as plants grow fast enough, this is still an experiment, let's see how it goes
)
Chop down old/not needed planter sticks with the axe
The build is live right now, you might have to restart steam to start the update.

Fixed from the previous build:
* Grass stays on the road and on the plowed land
* Vehicles having no icon and name in the shop
* Cut grass casts invisible shadows

Why did the game disappear from Steam?
The vehicles I used in the game were under the copyright of a third party.
I didn't realize this when I downloaded them from a model sharing website (the license listed on the site was not true) so they filed a DMCA takedown against my game with VALVE.
I got in contact with them and explained my situation. They were reasonable about it and replied pretty fast so in the end we could work this out between us!
I'd like to thank them for handling this the way they did <3
And big thanks to Kjenre for updating the discord community while I deal with this!
A plus side is that the game's now got way more detailed vehicles so I could make a first-person driving camera too.

But.. what happened before then?
In short: Covid-19
I work for an archviz company besides game development and because of the health crisis we needed a lot of work, R&D, and time to refocus parts of the company in a way that's "pandemic resistant".
I have a very unique product there and they really need it.
I can't really say more but in the end, I have friends, colleagues, and my team there.
I felt it's my responsibility too to make sure when this ends we still have a place to work for.
Unfortunately, this meant not having much time to work on anything else in the forest of the endless sleepless nights lol.

What's next?
More!
I don't know when the current situation will end or what's next given the circumstances but things seem to be better than a few months ago!
What I do know is that I'm not ready to leave this game until it's ready!

Hotfix 3 is now live for the game!
What's new:
*The first batch of performance improvements (optimized parts of the rendering system to reduce CPU-overhead significantly. This should increase your fps on lower-end systems)
*Detail distance option - Setting this to a lower value on lower-end systems should increase your FPS drastically.
*Detail density option - Setting this to a lower value on lower-end systems should increase your FPS drastically.
*Fixed a bug that caused the game to black-screen after a long play session or leaving the game idle for a while.
*Fixed the rendering distance for the ground where you plowed.
*Fixed that some joints had no sell value.
*Fixed a bug in the shop that caused to get 1 less or more item that what you paid for (x10 tobacco gave you x9)
*Fixed a bug that you can plant on the road as it was registered as a plantable surface.
*Partially fixed an issue where you can push your tractors with a jerry can or watering can. (This will be properly fixed in an upcoming release with a physics overhaul.)

I'd like to thank everyone for the bug reports, ideas and suggestions!
This will be the last "fixes only" patch for the game before the next update, I wanted to fix as much as I can before.
The next update will be a major update with new stuff and deep fixes (like update1 was).
I'm planning to add a lot and evaluate player feedback so it might take a longer time.
Of course, if there's a game-breaking bug in the meantime I will address it in a patch.

Another hotfix is now live for the game.
What's new:
*Fixed a bug when the shop doesn't display the user's money upon entering the shop.
*Fixed an issue where the player's money sometimes wasn't saved correctly.
*Fixed an issue in the shop that made everything cost 2x the price.
*Fixed a bug that would make the player's money go negative.
*Fixed a bug in the shop that made the planter and harvester attachments were switched up.
*Added map bounds, you can no longer run to the map's edge and fall off.
*Added item sorting to the inventory. Clicking it automatically reorganizes your inventory based on the available free space.
*You can now resell your unused tobacco and rolling paper in the shop.

A new hotfix is live for the game.
*Fixed a visual glitch where if you stand in a place of a cut-down tree things disappear because of occlusion-culling and when you move they come back.
*Fixed an issue where not all attachments are available in the shop to purchase.
*Added a quick fix for when you run too fast high on the RunRunRun weed on plantable land you rarely can fall into the ground. (this will be properly investigated in the future)

Game options
Igame settings for anti-aliasing, resolution and FOV.

Complete inventory system rewrite
Complete rewrite and redesign of the inventory. Bugs like the game forget where is what and infinite items/items disappearing should be fixed now.
You can also use the mouse scroll wheel to select the active item on the Hotbar.

Planter Attachment management.
Now you can fill your planter attachment with the seed you want and you can plant it via vehicles.

Irrigator attachment
You can now buy an irrigation attachment for your vehicles. You can give water to a lot more plants with it.

Complete tutorial system redesign and rewriteIt was way too ugly. Plus now you get tutorial popups to recharge items with water for the first time.

Weed growing changes
Weeds grow slower as they should. Plus the game now has fertilizer in the shop. You can use it to make your plants grow faster.

Weed high time
The high time from a smoked joint calculates correctly and lasts way longer than in the previous version.

Other fixes and changes:
*Decorations and planter sticks now have collision, you can't walk through them.
*Replaced the car in the starting cutscene with a better one.
*Weed growing and harvesting optimizations.
*You can now sell a lot more stuff in the shop. If you run out of cash you can sell a few sticks from trees, you can resell your unused seeds, you can also sell prerolled joints if you want.
*added the character to the main menu
*options saved automatically upon setting them.
*rewritten Hotbar management.
*looking and walking when the inventory is open
*added options for temporal anti-aliasing and FXAA
*a lot of smaller bug fixes and changes
