Beskrivelse
After several months of ornate linework I felt like making a Daimyo again. I enjoy making them: it’s a bit like applying decals to a freshly built airfix model, but also adapting the livery as its own iteration of the Daimyo finish.

This time I’ve attempted the XM1014, which for the most part I’ve avoided in the past. I feel shotguns are a bit weedy in CS; the damage falloff, fire rate and range feel overly nerfed. I only ever buy a sawed-off / mag-7 due to the price and when defending a short corner like paper in office or vent in assault. The XM doesn’t have a clearly defined role in my wheelhouse.

Back to the design: I prefer the red option, but there appears to be quite a few red finishes in the range, so as an alternative I’ve also made a lime version.

I have worked up a magenta version - but it's not quite right yet. The five-seven violent (majestic) daimyo was a mild departure, it used all the same patterns and colours, but application was modified to suit the reduced surface area. I need to work out whether the larger XM should follow suit of the original ‘Evil’ Daimyo except recoloured, or whether it should take cue from the five seven ie. hexagonal pattern should be more prominent, with the polygon texture taking a backseat. That may sound like splitting hairs, to me it's a splitting headache!
